Rob from the rich "give to the poor" believes in redistrubtion we all know this, we have seen the past 4 years of this.

Of course people seem to have forgotten about that little video.

And of course we have this:

Asking Seniors to pay for medicare?

Like how that SS check they are getting that medicare is automatically deducted from it that difference is made up by spreading that wealth around aka wealth distrubution.

Or he could introduced tort reform, reduced regulations get out of the way and increase competition that lower costs.

And people are crying about a Romney gaf for stating the obvious 4 more years!

4 more years of playing robbing hood that will fix everything.

My friend, Both Parties believe in Redistribution.

The only Difference is in which Direction.

GOP = Money heads North, Rich get Richer
Dems = Money heads South, Poor receive aid

It was reduced regulations and an extreme re-distribution policy that stole the retirement money of those Medicare folks in the first place.

Who benefited? The wealthy!

Let them help foot the bill that we, the middle class, are having a hard time paying!

Obama is helping to steal from the poor to give to the rich and you are complaining about it?

Make private ownership of property illegal?

How many people have lost their houses, their 401K retirements, their family farms due to taxes?

Not a big jump now.

More people have lost homes and 401's to wall street and the banks crooked deals than has been lost to taxes. And far more farms were lost during the Reagan years thanks to his voodoo economics than were lost to taxes. We should have a flat tax where everyone pays the same percentage.

Funny... When we're discussing Medicaid or Medicare it's "redistribution of wealth". But when Exxon spends five straight years booking unfathomable record corporate profits, on the backs of the working class through economic terrorism, we call it "the free market".

I guess it's all in how many spin doctors and lobbyists you can afford.

Unfortunately for a lot of us younger folk, lots of programs simply won't have the funds to provide the services they were meant to. Like it or not, those issues need to be addressed (and in my opinion, it just isn't a revenue problem)

Another issue that is plaguing us all is crony capitalism....time to get the lobbyists out of the government. Time to address the fraud that the government and many corporations / banks had their hands in.

Except when your talking about 50 million on medicaid that can't be paid for then added another 70 million on medicare, and the someone comes along and says not good enough everyone needs healthcare which if they could afford they would already have which is going to be over 30 million new people.

150 million people on 2 programs that can't be paid for in the first place?

In what world does that make sense??

Would people not have 1 well funded program do what it is designed to do instead of 3 to however knows how many that are complete and utter failures?

Some sanity needs to be brought in to the discussion of government programs that can't be paid for and no amount of nickle and diming a minority is ever going to make up that difference.

I agree on those points, but to make the thread flow a lot easier, what are you thoughts on the fraudulent actions of crony capitalists? (since that is what your opposition is going to ask you)

Agreed with a caveat...

That we try to find the real numbers regarding government spending ( minus chicanery, pork bellies, "good ole boy" contracting, etc. ), figure out what the pie really looks like - then revamp the tax code to favor neither corporations, wealthy, or the poor - and then we can discuss whether or not subsidized, universal, or free healthcare for the poor is a do-able thing.

As it stands now, the system seems to be set up to let the poor die so that corporations can garner more money than any stretch of the imagination would think reasonable.

To be perfectly clear crony capitalism I am agianst in any form be it

Corporate or social engineering programs, but let's cut to the chase just where do those dollars go from medicare and medicaid?

Corporate pockets which is what?

Crony capitalism.

I have no problems with that and listening to another poster once upon a time I was for a flat tax, a fair tax, but the only real fair tax is no income tax at all.

Neither right nor left would be able to hold that over the Ameircans head, and use it for polarization to get elected in to office.

Your a numbers man, you use them a lot to promote your propaganda.

Is it conceivable for you to comprehend that that 30 million , is 30 Million US citizens that will now have some sort

of Healthcare, that they never had.

I see you post the same post every night about cost, link the same Debt Clock, every night.

But the money is there, other countries make it work, we just need New Priorities in this country.

Hell, lets go back to the 60's.... Make Love , Not War.
