The Oatmeal is very funny this morning with 'My Dog the Paradox'

theoatmeal.com...

It deserves a thread of its own in this forum.

Some very true observations here.... but I won't spoil it for you, go have a read and a laugh.

Add your own annotations if you feel any were left out that may be worthy of a few more lol's.

soz, each to their own.

Typical human small mind has to make dogs mind smaller.

We run and do all the important things to get done cause they have to be.

The dog has you trained to open the door, bring it food, take it for walks.

WHO HAS THE BETTER LIFE!

It’s just a bit of fun, who woke up on the wrong side of life today?

I agree that dogs are much smarter than what we give them credit for and yes, I suppose that they have a great life – but they can’t do things that I’m sure they would really want to…. Like get married, drive a car or use opposable thumbs

Much less manipulative than a cat for example who’s idea of unconditional love is to suffocate you while sleeping.

Dogs are smarter in many ways than we are. We put up with cats. Dogs realize from a young age that good cats are dead cats. They don't get a chance to suffocate dogs.

I am always on the wrong side. PTSD does that. It is annoying sometimes. Still, not a lot to jump for joy over.
