The GOP does not want that. Trust me, I'm still a member of that party (although everyone here thinks I'm an evil liberal). Pretty much every member with sense I have encountered knows they will lose to almost any Democrat if they pick him

Would he even win most of the South? The cracks are appearing in the Southern Strategy that Nixon (God rot that man) built. The man seems to be a reject from 16th Century Spain.
