Right there - there is your proof that Love does indeed exist within your heart.

The remainder of your comments in all posts on this thread leads me to think that your fate in this world is to NOT be with this person - move forward and forgive him - that will bring you untold joy within yourself - I guarantee it - why - because it is the hardest thing you will ever have to do.

1. You have given him prior opportunities to address your concerns and it has failed.
2. You have decided to "break-up"

Now is the time for you to prove to him what he has just missed out on - forgive him from your heart and do not look back. You will smile for the rest of your life as to how simple and beautiful it is to do.

Don't go looking for a another relationship, that philosophy is doomed to failure - you seem like a beautiful soul - the relationship will find you - especially if you keep that smile going.

Try it - you have nothing more to loose but the whole world to gain.

ETA: I was engaged to be married and she became unfaithful - it upset me to no end until one day about 3 weeks later (after breaking it off and dwelling in my own self pity) a total stranger gave me this advice upon over hearing this conversation - I tried it bacause I needed to get my head right - the day I did it was the day my life changed. Now married to "the one" and beautiful kids to boot - life is beautiful.

I sympathize with you, but...

For the benefit of your future relationships, you must realize that no one person is at fault.
It's not like your ex man was causing everything that is bad. You both participated in the downfall of the relationship...one way or another.

Some advice: don't ever settle for mediocrity. If he is not willing to evolve and advance in himself and the relationship, you need to tell him to go hit the road.

Congrat's, you've just become more aware of what to avoid in a man.

Intimate relationships are not necessary to your well-being.

You'll eventually forgive, but never forget. And that's a good thing.
