Threads like this always make me laugh, with the ridiculous use of the word "Terror". I mean, seriously, who is terrified?

Do all the yanks sit at home at night, huddled in the corner quivering with terror at the thought of the turbaned and bearded bogeyman coming for them? I am starting to think maybe they do, given the levels of paranoia and ignorance shown by many across the pond.

The US is the biggest fund provider, supporter and user of terrorism to impose it's will that the world has ever seen, and yet they try to play victim when the inevitable blowback occurs... how very "Israeli" of them.

They call it murder when their own are killed, yet calmly and coldly refer to all the other innocents killed by them in the ongoing wars as collateral damage, simply the cost of doing business, with that business being war and power projection. Well ain't life just a bitch sometimes? Welcome to the world of payback and failed foreign policy.

It has become obvious to anyone paying attention that Obama, Bush, or Romney...it doesn't matter.

The war machine will not stop, cannot stop. It is the only thing propping up the West, and the consumerism plague that we have enslaved ourselves with.

All the left could say during the last election cycle was "end the war!", "We gotta win the white house to end the war!" "Close Guantanamo!"

Now...3 years into their, "victory" we see no "change" we see no difference between any of these guys offered up as a choice for president.

Doesn't THAT tell you something? Seems to me that if there was a REAL opportunity for the public to vote, there would be a clear cut choice, not these diluted, superficial twins.

They are the same person, politically speaking. There is virtually no issue that they disagree on, only this contrived polarity ginned up by the MSM.

When nations are keep in debt and the citizens as collateral you know that the people no longer hold the power in their nations.

Too much money and wealth been controlled by corruption.

And you are right, US foreign aid is nothing but briberies that is why within the Defense budget cuts that aid has not been cut and will keep increasing yearly.

The corporate dictatorship likes borders wide open and love conflicts in the middle east becasue it means profits

Obama never apologized to the world, stop spreading lies.

Ever the devout supporter;
(you are simply diminishing your credibility):

Obama Apologizes For America…Again

US President Barack Obama sent Afghan President Hamid Karzai a letter of apology over the burning of copies of the Koran overseen by a US officer at a US military base, Karzai’s office said Thursday.

"I wish to express my deep regret for the reported incident," Obama wrote in the letter presented to Karzai by US ambassador Ryan Crocker. "I extend to you and the Afghan people my sincere apologies."

Obama said the incident was unintentional and pledged a full investigation, the president’s office said, as fierce anti-US protests swept the nation in which at least 14 people have died, including two American soldiers.

“I wish to express my deep regret for the reported incident,” Obama wrote in the letter presented to Karzai by US ambassador Ryan Crocker. “I extend to you and the Afghan people my sincere apologies.

I believe "foreign aid" falls under"state" and not D.o.d.But I could be wrong.. After all it is funneled through various executive branch outreach programs : I.E. Agricultural aid through the "dept. of agriculture"; etc.And directly through contact with the diplomats and attache's in the embassies(A.K.A.the"state dept.")

My thoughts are that you've bought right into the propaganda based on racist hatred used to justify a 2 thousand year old holy war. You know what I consider "terrorism"? Being sexually assaulted by the TSA while being indefinitely detained by my Government for having an opinion.

Welcome to the real world.

No, the ones that do are usually republicans though. They're the only ones freaking out over some riots on an embassy. If it were up to them they'd just nuke whole countries in the ME.

Bush's bellicose stance may have created more irritation and destabilization in the long run, but it happened. By far the worst stance Obama can possibly take in light of the current reality is one of conciliation.
I'm sure the doves were out in effect when Hitler took back lands that once belonged to Germany (Sudentenland, Austria, Czechoslovakia, etc). After all, Allied hardline policy on Germany certainly justified anger by the German populace, which was then channeled by its political leaders. The German people were wronged - but that does not justify appeasement in answer to aggression.
I am not saying we should enact full scale occupation of these nations. We simply can't afford it for one thing. But apologizing for free speech and acting conciliatory will serve to embolden and and empower these fanatics.
We truly are in a global cultural struggle- West vs East- which is simply the struggle we've been in since the Mycenaen Greeks battled the Trojans 3000 years ago.
We need measured strength- not exposed weakness.
When Clinton immediately pulled out of Somalia after the Blackhawk Down incident, it directly spawned the creation of Al Queda as Osama Bin LAden saw his act as weakness. Clinton may not be at fault for the previous 40 years of US foreign policy which fed the anger and resentment but his actions are at fault for emboldening our enemies (and enemies they are).
Bush's overzealous bellicosity and Obama's extreme spinelessness create the perfect combination to ensure a major global conflict probably sooner rather than later.
Obama's immediate denouncing of Americans after our own people died overseas shows his hand. Say goodbye to the first amendment. He's not going after them. He's coming after us.

he was placed in office to give the impression we are friends. That we want to reset relations with everyone.
While at the same time, continuing those policies in secret.

It's not that the war is weak on terrorism, it's that their priorities have shifted to the new terrorists, or opposition to their plans. Obama is a figure head as most of you are aware, he was not elected, he was placed. for purpose.

You mean the Democrats elected him to reset our relationships with muslim countries and in the process he reset relations with our allies as well.
He was elected to be Commander in Chief.
The reality is he is a rogue President, destroying relations with long term allies and working toward the goals of Marxist/communist/socialists. He went into Libya without Congressional approval, and continues to go around Congress with EO's as well.

So if you were POTUS, what would you have done in Bush's stead in response to 9-11? I'm just wondering because a lot of people criticize him but I would like to know if people would have sat around and twiddled their thumbs. Would you give more money to the arab world as Obama is doing?

Actually, People died, at those embassies.

Second, your generalization, of lumping ANYONE into that "Republican" group, is wrong, almost childish.

Third, Nukes?

Talk about an exaggeration.

I would not have invaded Iraq with half a million soldiers - a country that did not attack us on 9/11...

Ronald Reagan gave tons of money to the Arab world, why is it ok that Ronnie did it, but not
ok when Obama does it?

You know the difference between linking an entire party to a thought process and an entire religion to violence?

Obama needs to not coddle these Nations, that harbor groups of extremists, That will use Anything as a crutch, to promote violence against America, or the West.

Basically saying that all Muslim nations harbor extremists and hate the West. What about Israel's Jewish extremists called Zionists that have the most nukes in the middle east and lobby our politians to fight their holy wars? What about the fact that Al Queda was created and funded by the CIA? What about the Libyans in the street with signs saying this is not what they want?

To be honest, I'm sick of the racist hatred towards an entire people that choose to worship a specific religion.

You cant be. As long as you play the part of demonizing one group, and turning your back on another.

Sorry.

Edit to add:

I am asking for Obama to change his policies. Stop giving aid to these countries. That's a good start. Its more then what hes done. Its more then having NO solution.

Hiding? I'm not the one ignoring posts that question hatred.

It's my problem that I don't hate and blame an entire people because of their religion?

Yawn.

Yes we know Jews can do no wrong. They are our savior and God's chosen people. Zionism is a myth.

I see where this is going. Typical.

Judging by your responses in this thread, I would call your immature strawman typical.

Sorry.

Who am I turning my back on by defending an entire religion which I have no affiliation with? Please explain that to me.

I agree, but ALL foreign aid should be cut. That means, when aid is cut for Israel, aid can be cut to everyone else.
