New CO and MI Polls: Virtual Dead Heat, page 1

New post convention polls from the "outlier" swing states puts President Obama and Mitt Romney in a virtual tie. These swing states show the President's post convention bounce short-lived and perhaps the bounce had more to do with his rising support in the deep blue states. These new swing state polls also reflect the President's handling of the embassy attacks.

Colorado (MOE +/- 4%)
Obama 47%
Romney 46%
Undecided 7%

Michigan (MOE +/-2.88%)
Obama 45.49%
Romney 43.65%
Other 5.48%
Undecided 5.38%

Interesting numbers, but I think the numbers may not be very representative of the voting population.

In Which Age Range Do You Fit?
1- Between 18 to 30 years old, 2- between 31 to 50 years old, 3- between 51 to 65 years old, 4- ages 66 and older

(Between 18 to 30 years old): 2.77%
(Between 31 to 50 years old): 14.55%
(Between 51 to 65 years old): 39.13%
(Ages 66 and older): 43.55%

Obama has a lot of support with the younger crowds and this only comprises 2.77% of the total poll.

Given the ages of those polled, Romney should be light-years ahead. This may actually be bad for Romney.

So I think this poll is a bit off.....just saying.

Just wanted to add that this poll was predominatly done outside of urban/metro areas in which Obama has higher support as well.

Urban Market Community weight of polling study respondents
Urban Market Communities 14.88%
All other Michigan communities 85.12%

My candidate was steamrolled by the GOP establishment. Which is a shame because he is the only one that would have beaten Obama and saved this country. Yeah you guessed it...RP!

I'm not a Romney cheerleader but he sure as hell can get the financial system up and running better than the professor has been able to, oh excuse me...I meant community organizer.
