As Donttreadonme suggests,if you need help you could send us a u2u with payment/vet details etc?

glad to see that she is coping, but, obviously, the sooner she is given the treatment she requires, the better.

Can someone please U2U me and tell me what aaaiii said? Obviously it wasn't very nice, but I missed it before it was removed by Mods. Or maybe I don't want to know. You all can be the judge. I am very curious though.

Ok fair enough. You're probably right, at this point all I can think about is how and when I can get my baby girl fixed up, so even the smallest "bad vibe" would probably send me over the top.

And since she is all that's on my mind these last few days, and between all of you WONDERFUL folks here, I believe she is getting a good healthy dose of good thoughts.

Just wanted to let you all know that I'm about 95% sure that Loli will be having surgery tomorrow! And most of that 95% is due to those of you with hearts of gold....you know who you are.

The small 5% possibility that she won't have it tomorrow is because my mother doesn't know for sure if she will have the rest of the money to wire to me tomorrow or Friday morning. So that means if not tomorrow, Friday will be the latest. But keep your fingers crossed, prayers sent up, or whatever good energy you can send to us that tomorrow will be the day!

This has been the longest week of my life guys and it's only Wednesday! I think I've cried more this week (in 4 days actually) than I have all year, I'm almost positive of that. But I couldn't have made it through this without all of you, honestly. Awww *group hug*

I can assure you that you have plenty of folks who've been quietly watching, reading and supporting you with their positive thoughts.
Not all posted replies or were able to offer help via messages, but all the same, they truly care.

We're looking forward to seeing your next update and hoping with you that it will all turn out okay. I'm sure it will and Loli's smile will be even bigger!

I've got not so great news. So I took Loli in to vet today. She was concerned when I was there the other day about the swelling of her leg, but she figured it would go down in 2 or 3 days which is why she wanted me to bring her back for surgery in a couple days. However, Loli's leg is still swollen. Not as bad as it was when she was there the other day, but enough that she wants to wait a few more days. She gave me an antibiotic to give her over the weekend, not sure why she didn't do that to begin with but whatever I guess. And I'm supposed to bring her back first thing Tuesday morning....Tuesday?!? Not Monday! I think her schedule is booked solid Monday is what her receptionist said. But Dr. Jobe reassured me that waiting a few more days will be for the best. She was just glad the swelling had went down some, that's a good sign that it will continue to do so.

She didn't tell me this when I was there the other day because she didn't want to freak me out especially since I had told her I already would have to find a way to get the money to cover it, but she told me today that if the swelling hadn't gone down when I came back she was going to have to have her see a specialist to do the surgery. Yeah I'm glad she left that tidbit of information to herself last time because I would've been even more worried than I already was.

She offered to let Loli stay there this weekend, free of charge, so she could just get started as soon as she got there Tuesday, but I brought her home. The vet won't be there all weekend. Her assistant would be but there were other animals staying the weekend, several dogs that would probably be barking and such, so I just felt like I could keep her more comfortable at home with her family.

I was so excited that she was finally getting her surgery, so I'm pretty bummed out that we have to wait even longer.

Sorry to hear tht you have to wait longer.
I'm sure the vet knows what is best, and she seems happy that the swelling is receding.....and you have her home where she is among loving people. And, I''m sure she's being pretty quiet and resting in comfort at home.

I know it's going to be a long wait for you.....stay strong, SW!!

Thank you. At least she has an actual appointment now. That does make me feel better. Because it was in the back of mind this morning on my way there "what if she can't see her once we get there?" But Dr. Jobe was the one that told me just to come back when I had the money, that I didn't need an appointment.

Anyway, thanks for your support!

I want to add something to my post. Dr. Jobe said I didn't need an appt but that has nothing to do with why she couldn't see her. As I stated earlier, it was because of the swelling.

I wanted to add that because I didn't want anyone that may have skipped my first update post today to think she wasn't seen today because I didn't have an appointment.
