White House details ‘destructive’ spending cuts

Right in the middle of the "Islamic Crisis", the White House has released a spending cut report that they say needs to start in January. The "Report" is a requirement by law. But the "Timing" couldn't have been any better.

With excruciating detail, the White House’s budget office on Friday laid out exactly where it will have to cut $109 billion from federal spending in January, including $11.1 billion from Medicare and $54.7 billion from defense spending.

The defense cuts include $21.5 billion from operations and maintenance for the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines and the reserves and National Guard, and nearly $1.4 billion from military aide to Afghanistan, with tens of billions coming from procurement and other Pentagon accounts.

“The report leaves no question that the sequestration would be deeply destructive to national security, domestic investments, and core government functions,” the White House’s budget office said in the report.

Cuts to defense after this week do not make any sense whatsoever if people are so freaking set on cutting money cut the damn foreign aid going to those people.;

Now more than ever we need a strong military it is a shame the events of the past week haven't woken up those people who say "gut defense".

Well, people want cuts to government, this will cut government spending. Why not quit all government EDC grants and loans. You can't loan money you don't have. I notice the Republicans want to cut government jobs but never say to cut the funding of private contractors . The government needs people watching this spending that is under government control. Inspectors are needed but top government officials aren't necessary. Cut the high ranking jobs first and not the legmen or workers. Cut the massive paperwork designed to hide deceit. I see loads of paperwork and no money for the work. Paperwork does not fix roads, workers do. Instead of burying deceit in paperwork, get rid of the deceivers and don't make extra work for honest people because of the deceitful people. Throw the crooked ones in jail, don't cover the deceit.

His cuts are a joke played on the tax payer and voters for political benefits

He is not cutting the military actually within the Defense budget the military budget is growing, he is cutting mostly on contracting companies that employ people in the US, so this cuts will increase unemployment and welfare.

Still he is not cutting into the some 40 nations mostly in the middle east that tax payer money goes for aid, recruiting and training of foreign forces and we know already how that is going lately

They hate US but they love US dollars

We train them and they turn around to kill our soldiers when they get the chance.

So much for the so call defense budget cuts, Medicare for the elderly and Medicaid for the poor.

What a hoax.

Maybe you need to wake up on how much we spend on defense. With just over 700 billion on defense this year alone we could cut twice this much and still have a strong defense.

WhaT?

Maybe people need to wake up at the trillions we currently spend and continue to spend on social engineering as in free homes, free educations, free healthcare, free cell phones etc.

Current us federal spending on entitlements alone is over 2.2 trillion dollars.

70 million on SS
70 million on medicare
50 million on medicaid
25 million on unemployment
47 million on welfare

A student loan debt at over 1 trillion dollars.

Fanny and Freddy still over over 6 trillion in housing mortgages but hey go on gut the only thing that makes all that social engineering possible.

Relative safety to have a productive economy and secure that resource that there is no economy without.

You know the hypocrisy of political whores vs the trusting in government and political party followers. Due to the fact that Obama hoax of defense cuts is hitting my family personally right now, I took the time to do the research.

He is actually increasing the welfare state with cuts on employment in the US while cutting the contractors power to create new employment, but at the same time favoritism within contracting agencies is been abuse, and corruption is rampant, with under budgets to still do the job and outsourcing within state lines.

At the same time, the almost trillion of dollars on Federal aid to foreign countries 40+ should have Americans raising their arms in the air in protest, specially when our tax payer dollars is mostly funneled to the same countries now that are having violence riots and have killed Americans.

The hypocrisy has no end, those countries will still get our hard earned tax payer dollars and incresing yearly.

People keep putting their glass colored glasses and live in hope while been robbed blind.

Republicans hate Obama’s defense cuts. The trouble is, they voted for them.

There’s just one problem: John McCain, and most other Republicans in the House and Senate, voted for the cuts in question.

The Budget Control Act, passed as a condition for Republican support for raising the debt ceiling last summer, contains a 10 percent across-the-board cut in defense spending – the cut that McCain was referencing. It comes out to $30 billion in cuts next year and $510 billion in cuts over the next ten years. The cuts were included in the event that the so-called “SuperCommittee” did not agree on a plan that reduced the deficit by $1.5 trillion. That committee failed, and now the fallback cuts are due to take effect at the end of the year.

Republicans are now trying to reverse those cuts. Paul Ryan has said a Romney-Ryan administration would roll them back, arguing that 44,000 jobs would be lost if they were to take effect. Ryan, however, voted for the cuts as well. So did House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, and Armed Services Ranking Member Buck McKeon, as well as Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell and minority whip Jon Kyl. Now all five or those people are calling for the cuts to be reversed.

ahahahahah what a joke.

Get this one, if you have not been in the market data thread just get a look at the latest post the Q3 is here, and the joke about it and Bernanke is that Bernanke is pledging billions of dollars to the mortgage markets again, you know the too big to fail, another bailout but this time he is using the excuse of been for the good of the markets and for people to be able to get more loans to borrow for homes

But you can not cover the sun with the palm of your hand, see is nothing but another bailout so the too big fail do not fall again into another mortgage crash mess, this is how bad the recovery has prove to be, is not darn recovery plain and simple.

Yesterday I woke up listening to the great news coming from the parasitic Federal reserve and the Wall street puppet Bernanke

Those Christmas bonuses have to be pay out after elections for all the corrupted campaign funds that Wall street has funneled to their whores in Washington

More tax payer dollars going to waste and abuse.
