I'm short (double-digit) now. DEERS has my info as well as everyone else.

I just wouldn't make it easier for them.

ETA; you'd have to fight the wife for that!
She feels more entitled to it than I.

One snappy hand salute to you for service and sacrifice. I hope the place in Wyoming (as I recall) works out for you.

May all your dreams come true. The end is often just the begining.

I went through a period of depression after I got out as I missed the "action" if you need to chat let me know. I have no answers but I'll sympathize.

Also, make sure to get any VA claim in before you get out as they are processed first and there is a 1-2 year backlog.

Any of us that will need to be rounded up are already on the list.
I so wanted to get rid of that sign I wore that said "crazy Viet Nam Vet" that I paid for school rather than do the GI Bill.
I'm glad to hear things are different for vets today

I am sorry your generation had to endure such ignorance at the hands of the people you served.

You have my thanks, and that of my family for your sacrifice and service.
