If they had half a chance they would slaughter us all and I am tired of it. They have the us or them mentality and all I am saying is let it be them. When they take down all their hate pieces then they have a right to talk but they never had a right to attack.

Their goal is to wipe out every non Islamic person on earth and if that leads them to their demise I think it would be poetic justice.

It doesn’t really matter what I think because I do not have control over America’s nukes and they can thank Allah for that.

Unbelievable... even more unbelievable is the pro sentiment for this kind of venom on here.

I agree, good thing you aren't in charge.

Here's what most people don't understand. If you remove the U.S. and Israeli presence out of the Middle East, you still have all of these atrocities being committed, and it wouldn't even slow down.

It is their sandpile after all, not ours.

What gives us the right to fix their problems? We do't even speak the language. I'd be more concerned with the attitude that justifies interfering with other nations by waging war and conquering them to get their stuff.

From what you said I am a really bad person and you want me to die an excruciating death because of what I said about the animals that killed innocent people over a movie.

So let me ask you how are you better than me?

LOL! Just wait, when or if we totally remove ourselves from the Middle East, we'll have every poor trodden down average citizen begging us to save them from these radicals. Do we turn the other cheek when they do?

It never ceases to amaze me how people believe so strongly in something they truly have no knowledge about.

People are so afraid of Islam and want nothing more than to hate these people, yet most of them have never, ever in their lives known a Muslim or a group of Muslims, let alone been to these countries to actively view and take part in their culture.

There are just so many close-minded idiots who want to hate, but will never put forth the effort to even understand why they hate, or justify their hatred. At least then they wouldn't sound so ignorant.

It is all driven by fear and ignorance. Our society does a great job at pushing the narrative and people swallow it whole without a thought in their puny brain. It is disgusting.

If I am going to hate something or be afraid of it, I would at least like to learn as much as I possibly can to understand why. And that means actually seeking out information, not just believing what you are told.

I am an opponent of extremism in every sort of spectrum. There is no doubt that these extreme Muslims exist, and many of them are quite powerful. But to write off a whole region of people is unbelievable.

That is the exact line of thinking that these people supposedly hate Muslims for. They apparently hate the West, lump us all into one category, and want to kill us all. Exact same thing only on the opposite side of the spectrum.

I didn't approve of the reason why we attacked Iraq, but are you saying that if we stayed out of the Middle East, Saddam Hussein wouldn't have killed thousands of his own people with chemical weapons? Would the killing of rape victims stop? Would parents stop honor killing their own kids?

Again, I don't like interfering in the Middle East, but only because that region can't, and won't, be fixed. We can't take 6000 years of ignorant religious dominance and suddenly make these people civilized. It's just that if these people are fed up with outside interference, once that interference goes away they'll just find some other reason to commit atrocities against their people and nations.

"We can't take 6000 years of ignorant religious dominance and suddenly make these people civilized."

6000 years? I'm assuming you're referring to Islam. Muhammad died in 632 AD.

So that's 1,380 years of "ignorant religious dominance."

I agree there is no easy fix. The best thing we can do is spread the truth about Muhammad & his Quran, before the Muslims outlaw speaking the truth.

Horsesh#t, these people are the trailer park trash of the planet. They believe all kinds of weird junk and they are willing to kill themselves so they can go to heaven. They keep it up and large portions of them will get what they want. Religious nuts of all stripes don't respect laws or civilization, they believe they have God on their side. These particular nuts are militantly stupid - possibly the worst kind.

If God's on their side how come their countries are so messed up?

Yes see this is why I already regret posting.

Immediately bunch of people showed up to say that the only thing muslims in Middle
East understand is a bullet to the head or military invasion.

Not one of them addressed the problem of VIOLENCE BEGETS VIOLENCE

and if you get your information from Mainstream Media on what US and Israel are
doing in Middle East, you are already hopeless.

I have little idea what is happening with regards to capitals in predominately Islamic nations. Why some are rioting and causing havoc there eludes me. But I fully comprehend I will not get a clear picture from watching the news. Matter of fact, what I get from the news is more questions in my mind. Like, with this particular patchwork of information (notice I did not say knowledge) what am I being sold? Sounds paranoid right? Please consider this.

I saw a crawler on CNN claiming the Muslim world is aflame. Well, if you check the news services, blogs, and pod casts from these places, that is not the case. I trust the dudes on the ground. Sure there is discontent. When has that not been true? Sure there are always those ready to take to the street to vent rage for a million different reasons, to simply see what is going on, or to make buck. Here dude, burn this flag while I film it. I’ll give you $20.

So who has the camera and is handing out the $20’s?

Four State Department employees/contractors were killed. Sad? Sure. My heart goes out. How many Defense Department employees/contactors were killed this week? Haven’t seen anything on that. (edit: I finally did, on Al Jazeera) Has that lost its luster? Its impact? Its leverage?

So why the new tool? Why now?

There was some video (I dare call it a movie) which has sparked the whole thing. The world is on fire over a video? A video almost nobody in the US heard of. The whack-a-mole is on to pin down who made and who paid for it. Apparently it was funded by a US Christian organization or maybe an Egyptian Coptic who has had numerous run in with the fuzz in Egypt or maybe that nut job Pastor in Florida. It was published on You Tube by a guy who does not exist. Even though the video had been out for some time, it was posted just in time for the 9/11 anniversary. The actors in the video claim they were lied to and had no clue the final product would look like it did. Supposedly it cost $5 million to make. After watching some of the video, I think someone got robbed but Hey, just my opinion.

This elaborate back story of no-names and non-persons and non-sense seems like a very familiar pattern. It’s almost like someone had to go out of their way to create something so elaborately deceptive. Who has the skills and the motivation to do something like that?

OK so this water is too muddy to see the bottom. Maybe I can get an idea of what is going on by looking at the context. What is happening in that part of the world? Who stands to gain? Who stands to lose? What message does the hysteria send and to whom?

This was harder to nail down than I thought. Sure we have the Iran/Israel/nuclear thing which has been long running. We recently had the Arab spring. But I had to scan the big news web sites looking for clues. ‘Naked Royals’? Nope. Romney v. Obama? Nada. Chicago teacher strike? El Zippo there. Sofia Vergara Strips Down for Body Painting? After a good 20 minutes of scrutiny of the photos, still no clues.

I finally found some perspective here Link. It helps clear up the whole ‘world on fire’ nonsense. Gets it localized. This group vying for power over the other group. Very Arab. They are the Kings of negotiation, with words or bullets. Makes sense. But it is far from news. Definitely a ‘dog bites man’ thing in that part of the world.

So what is the link to its sensationalism? I still am not sure. But I am confident it is not over a video.

So much of this is so very suspicious.

The media is painting the picture that the Muslim world is aflame because of them being all riled up over a movie. Yet when I read the news and try and pick out the relevant information, I draw a very different conclusion.

www.bloomberg.com...

Certain countries, like Saudi Arabia, were not effected by this uprising. I wonder why? Other Muslim leaders in the region were calling for peace and resolution without violence. But this is not mentioned either. In Pakistan and Afghanistan they were able to contain the protests, and from the news reports there were only around 200 people who were protesting. Seems like a very small contingent to me, comparatively.

I find this story highly suspicious as well.
www.bbc.co.uk...

"Camp Bastion is situated in the middle of the desert with excellent visibility all around, says the BBC's Jonathan Beale in Kabul. It is extremely heavily fortified and coalition forces are investigating how militants were able to stage the brazen surprise assault.

Major Adam Wojack, from Isaf joint command in Afghanistan, said the attackers found a "vulnerable part of the perimeter" and quietly breached it."

What? When has that ever happened? So in Libya these 'protesters' who we now are finding out were armed to the teeth and showed quite a bit of maneuvering that must have took planning, but no, the media wants you to think they are just crazy, angry Muslims. Add in the fact that the consulate was not warned and was not prepared, even more fishy. Then you have Camp Bastion where these people were able to some how evade being noticed and slip in to an unguarded part of the base? This cannot just be incompetence as they want you to believe.

I am not naive enough to believe that will ever happen. However, the tenants of our constitution hold that we, as a sovereign nation among other sovereign nations, should enjoy free trade and good relations with all other nations and entangling alliances with none of them. Thats the intent, hopelessly forgotten in the modern era.

Thats why Europeans left Europe and come here to live. To get away from the ceaseless wars, state rule by religion, poverty brought on by the ruling class that made everyone a slave to the state, and also the Inquisition and the Plague.

Sound familiar?

It doesn't matter what we think they should do or not do to themselves. It's none of our business. They been thinking and acting the way they do for millennia. What ever did they do before we came along and tried to change them? After all, it is we that entered their borders and forcibly dominated them, not the other way around.

Now decades later, we are hopelessly enmeshed in their problems that we helped crate. How much more blood and treasure you want to spill? You think leaving will create more problems, the problem is we are there and won't leave. The cost of changing the rest of the world to our way of thinking and behaving will never abate. It is ludicrous to keep thinking they will come around. Their culture is totally different from ours.

Do you want to change to their way of living? The US should stop insisting we have all the answers to the worlds problems. At this point I don't hold much hope that we will ever get the chance to turn the other cheek ever again. But think about this...

What if we had not started wars in the middle east after 911? You think we would be better or worse off today? How about the countries we have destroyed? You think they would be more or less angry at us today? What if we had stood down after 911 and apologized for the reasons that brought that upon us? You think the world would be more or less stable than it is now as a result?

I really hope you don't reply an eye for an eye.

Imagine if Mexico was taking over Texas, and by force pushing Texan

Ironic you should say that. Millions of illegals pour over the border in Texas, Arizona, and California and just live in the States. We are being taken over by way of illegal migration northward. The President of Mexico encourages this type of migration and breach of borders and even has pamphlets printed telling the migrant workers how to cross the desert without dying or being caught.
And our leaders are pandering to this demographic for votes.

Yeah really does irk one that we see all that bigots pandering here on ATS about the evil Isreal and never once, ever say a word about the invasion of illegals in this country, where murder, torture, fraud, and political pandering that circumvents US law all for a vote.

They take "our land",our money and never once a peep out of that crowd it is ridculous.

I don't want to see this thing turn into World War 3. I think we all need to step back and breath for a second. I think both sides are being played like a fiddle. Our media is telling us how much the muslims hate us and I'm sure the media in the middle east is telling their people how much we hate them. It's only to get us riled up so we go to war. That's what the illuminati want. They are trying to divide us by class, gender, sexual orientation, religion, and we're buying into it. For our children's sake, I hope cooler heads prevail.
