Every time I join some site and post, I regret it later because it feels hopeless,
like I am not making any difference.

I spoke to my sister's husband who works in Middle East as a contractor.
He has been there off and on for 10 years, he even speaks pretty good Arabic.

This movie is just a spark in the tank of high octane Gasoline, just a spark

the real anger comes from people being sick and tired of US and
Israeli sabotage over the years.

Wars
Abduction
Torture
Murder
Mind Control
Genetic experimentation
Political Subterfuge
Financial Plunder

And of course who can forget present day enlargement of Israeli territory
by force by the so called "illegal settlements"

Israel is the ONLY country that literally grows its borders by force and no
one in the western world says they shouldn't do it.

Imagine if Mexico was taking over Texas, and by force pushing Texan
Americans up north, and the rest of the world just kept quiet.

And lets say one country (Canada for example) kept saying
"hey Mexico what the hell are you people doing"

and the rest of the world tells Canada, Shut up Canada SHUT UP
or we are gonna bomb your behind.

Canada being Iran in this case.

This isn't just some BS...........This is real people.....real lives

IF YOU TREAT A MAN LIKE AN ANIMAL

HE BECOMES AN ANIMAL

and it doesn't matter if you are American or Arab or whatever, you are a person who responds
to years of suffering, and you would all be doing the same and you know it.

Yep. I totally agree.

Is it wrong I hope countries and their citizens continue raising hell?

I don't like violence and everything, but what other option is there when the situation in the entire region has been manipulated for decades? Obviously peace and trying to talk sense doesn't get anything done when leaders of countries are as stubborn as a mule and actually throwing more gas on the fire.

As long as there is fatalities, I always feel bad. Yet at the same time...

So you are trying to argue that the Libyan Islamic fundamentalists who murdered the US diplomat are the victims?

Didn't the US just recently help those Libyan's to get rid of their hated dictator Gaddafi?

I would hate to see their reaction if we had helped Gaddafi.

And here I thought it was about Princes/ Oligarchs hoarding wealth - natural resources in the Middle East, stoning supposed adulterers, plural marriages, poisoning school girls, and hanging gays. Where do I get these ideas from? Must be all media hype... I know, it's that damn youtube site again.

I left off aerial bombardments and leveling protesters with assault rifles.

My thoughts exactly... These "victims" are attacking and killing innocent people.People who have nothing to do with their anger.... and they have the nerve to call THEMSELVES victims?

I am sorry, but I am having trouble sympathizing with people who cry victim while dragging some one they killed, through the streets....

Ironic you should say that. Millions of illegals pour over the border in Texas, Arizona, and California and just live in the States. We are being taken over by way of illegal migration northward. The President of Mexico encourages this type of migration and breach of borders and even has pamphlets printed telling the migrant workers how to cross the desert without dying or being caught.
And our leaders are pandering to this demographic for votes.

We did help Gaddafi. And he helped us.

'Worried that they were missing out to European competition, a group of powerful US companies (including BP, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Dow Chemical, ExxonMobil, Fluor, Halliburton, Hess Corporation, Marathon Oil, Midrex Technologies, Motorola, Northrop Grumman, Occidental Petroleum, Raytheon, Shell and United Gulf Construction Company) set up a US-Libya Business Association to catch up.

Among the Gaddafi regime’s new lobbyists in Washington was arch neocon Richard Perle, a former Reagan-era US Defense Department official and George W. Bush-era chair of the US Defense Policy Board.

According to US political reporter Lauren Rozen, Perle traveled to Libya as a paid adviser to the Monitor Group, a prestigious Boston-based consulting firm with close ties to leading professors at the Harvard Business School:

A 2007 Monitor memo named among the prominent figures it had recruited to travel to Libya and meet with Gaddafi "as part of the Project to Enhance the Profile of Libya and Muammar Gaddafi" Perle, historian Francis Fukuyama, Princeton Middle East scholar Bernard Lewis, famous Nixon interviewer David Frost, and MIT media lab founder Nicholas Negroponte, the brother of former deputy secretary of state and director of national intelligence John Negroponte.

Several major US oil companies, including ConocoPhillips, Marathon Oil and Hess Corp, now have significant stakes in Libya's oil industry, according to a fact sheet prepared by Reuters on February 23. However, 80-85% of Libya’s oil exports go to Europe and companies such as British Petroleum, Italy’s Eni, Spain’s Repsol and Royal Dutch Shell have some of the biggest stakes. '

links.org.au...

I wonder if they cared about his dictatorial attitude while he was selling them oil

The US also helped them get rid of that pesky gold backed currency.
DCs foreign policy caused this and watch how they will start shoving taxpaers sons and daughters out into the line of fire as cannon fodder.

I didn't approve of the reason why we attacked Iraq, but are you saying that if we stayed out of the Middle East, Saddam Hussein wouldn't have killed thousands of his own people with chemical weapons? Would the killing of rape victims stop? Would parents stop honor killing their own kids?

Again, I don't like interfering in the Middle East, but only because that region can't, and won't, be fixed. We can't take 6000 years of ignorant religious dominance and suddenly make these people civilized. It's just that if these people are fed up with outside interference, once that interference goes away they'll just find some other reason to commit atrocities against their people and nations.

I am so tired of people blaming the U.S. when we get attacked I am fed up with it. For people who feel the appropriate response to a crackpot movie is to murder U.S. citizens then I feel our appropriate response should be this for them.
Then you can be upset.

I said it already multiple times, the underlying problem here is Israel. No peace in the M.E. even with the Americans having withdrawn all troops. The hate against us will prevail, no matter what we do since they will always look at Israel and see it as "the devil" and US's ally (Israel/US is freely interchangeable here)....i am just surprised how many people seriously think peace and chocolate cake will appear i the M.E. as long as we merely withdraw all our troops. By the way..this is NOT an anti-Israel anti-semitic statement in the slightest, it's simply stating A FACT. there must be a solution and it must involve Israel. PERIOD.

I'm with you on this.... so many threads on ATS about how this is all Americas fault yet don't recognise what's actually happened and who is being killed for this.

This site worries me at times... it really does, didn't realise I had joined a site that is so anti-western and so ready to accept one side of the story based on nothing or no evidence... yet it must be true... huh.

What about America? They are currently building bases all over Europe that will later be used for staging new attacks into the rest of the middle eastern countries having oil.

It is no different to hearing the bias BS on the evening news when it comes to pro-western crap... Unfortunetly, the USA has been killing innocents for the past 10 years and if you want to go back further, since the end of WW2. Funny how you people ignore what your own elite have been doing yet are quick to judge when someone actually decides to waste one of your nationals.. The problem is, yous allow dipsh*ts to cause these problems when a simple law could end all of this. I can still watch that video on Youtube BTW. You would think that it would be banned.
, Talk about disrespect and you wonder why they are going nuts and killing anyone they see fit.

Right and I guess you are going to say Islam is peaceful and doesn’t preach hate and want to destroy America or Israel and they would never put something like that on YouTube. (ahh hemm clear throat.....B.S)

www.youtube.com...
www.youtube.com...
These are the tame you tube videos.Where is the tolerance and love?

If they had half a chance they would slaughter us all and I am tired of it. They have the us or them mentality and all I am saying is let it be them. When they take down all their hate pieces then they have a right to talk but they never had a right to attack.

Their goal is to wipe out every non Islamic person on earth and if that leads them to their demise I think it would be poetic justice.

It doesn’t really matter what I think because I do not have control over America’s nukes and they can thank Allah for that.

A country led by an intolerant religion can not be trusted with nuclear weapons. Find tolerance and help create a world of peace and prosperity.
