It's not the same for me, an American citizen, knowing he's at the White House with his finger on the out-of-control world political pulse, and holding press conferences to reassure me, and the rest of America, that he is indeed, tuned into what is going on

How can he not be in tune to what is going on? It's on every news channel, newspaper, and social media there is. It is all everybody is talking about.

Poor Obama can't even take a piss break because then he'll be accused of not having his fingers on this out of control issued. :shk:

I think it is time for Obama to get out of campaign mode and discover what the word leadership means! Don't you?

Really? Okay ...

- how about he actually attend the security briefings IN PERSON with his staff. Emails and reports online (if he bothers to read them) are not a substitute for actually meeting with the staff and being able to ask questions and have discussions on the situation etc etc

- how about he actually meet with the leadership of Israel instead of blowing them off.

- how about he stop coddling the Muslim Brotherhood?

- how about he initiate a withdrawl of American 'aid' to Egypt.

- how about he spend some time figuring out a foreign policy other than 'appease and apologize'. It obviously isn't working.

- how about he meet with OPEC leaders and others and find a way to get gas prices down.

Those would be good for starters.

You bet it's on every MSM. IF you are watching them, like I am...everyone is asking...where is Obama, when is he going to step up and address this situation. Do you work for him by any chance....

So appearance is all that matters to you? Not the fact that we have no idea what he is actually doing, speaking to or threatening. For example, in an interview Obama was asked if Egypt is our ally, he no. That's a threat to Egypt to get their act together and fulfill their commitment to the US to protect our embassy, or loose funding and status.

Take virtual tour of Air Force 1, and then tell me he needs to do his job from the White House. As Benevolent Heretic put it, "Come join us in the digital age!"

If Obama suspended his campaign now, he'd look like John McCain did when he panicked during his campaign because of the Lehmen Brothers crash!

Fine. If Mitt Romney will agree to suspending his campaign and fund raising for a week, then I'll personally write a scathing letter to the POTUS telling him to do the same.

Besides, I can spend the next hour on Google and find article after article of past Presidents going on vacations, attending functions, and golfing when previous fires were burning. From both parties.

They are POTUS 24/7. They have to keep life going while they cope with emergencies.

Not talking about past Presidents. Talking about the current and his total lack of Leadership in this.

Deflect and attack doesn't cut it anymore. 0bama is the biggest loser Pres we have ever had.

aaaahhhh....errr....the Senate passed the emergency budget bill yesterday that, even though many called for funding to Egypt, and Libya to be stripped from the bill, it was not. The bill passed complete, as Obama wanted it. Including the full amount of bribe payment to both countries.....

Any funding bill would have to originate in the House and then be passed by a majority of BOTH houses and any differences would have to be ironed out by a conference committee from both. But you go ahead and keep trying to blame one guy for all that....

Sheesh!

As much as I don't think it's fair to try and saddle Obama personally with the state of security and conditions at the Consulate compound (not even a real Embassy), I think Obama earns this criticism 100% and alone. Romney is not the same thing here by any means whatsoever.

We expect to see Romney and especially at a time like this. His only job right now is to be seen and pontificate on how it'll be then or could be different now if he was the guy in charge. It's literally his job to be a super-commentator....as it was Obama's job back in 2007/2008.

However, Obama is in the position I expect to NOT SEE but come to form opinions by the actions being taken. Previous Presidents weren't seen a whole lot and sure not out living the high life, during major ongoing foreign crisis. Any of them. NO party issues involved. This is about the Presidents as men.

Bush had a couple Golf games when it really wasn't cool and he got called hard on it....he stopped it, too. Obama is still playing like he's just a Candidate and all this is happening for someone else to handle.

When is he actually taking time to learn, think about and understand all the issues when he's literally in public events and appearances in ALMOST ALL his waking hours??? Who is minding the store?? Knowledge with depth on the issues HE is now facing with possibly horrific consequence for getting it wrong isn't just beamed in like The Matrix..and I can't even see the clock time he has to read a book, let alone get a deep grasp of events right now.

If he would have read his security briefings he would have known the Embassy in Libya was under threat of attack and he would have acted on it. Or are you saying he already knew but did not doing anything about it. Whats worse.

this guy is only down for the free plane rides and "Rich" partys

And if he were at the white house personally handling all of these issues you'd be screaming about him meddling in the affairs of other countries and making things worse for us.
All you do, all day everyday is post crap from breitbart that has Obama in it and rail against him. There are so many legitimate gripes about him but you just go for the lowest common denominator.
It's pathetic.

They torched a KFC? Wow, that fire will burn for a month!

I get what you are saying, I just don't have the faith in ANY or our elected representatives to do anything but stick their finger in their eye while trying to pick their nose. Keep them out of the way while the people who have a clue (the people who have spent a career in foreign service) try to calm things down. Dancing to the cameras means neither candidate has alot of time to screw things up.

sorry but breitbard calls Obama out, as should the rest of the MSM but they dont because Obama has them in his back pocket.

lowest common denominator? ok, so what would be Obamas highest common denominator today? heck for the week? what would his high points be?

Maybe no one has to worry about elections at all?
Best to know who is in charge of our nuclear plants.
Make sure they are all secured by stable individuals on alert.
If we keep having all these bomb threats real or not our attention is being spread out, and who knows which one will turn out to be real. I'm not saying the US would be in on this game, but they could be, but I mean maybe someone else could "force" our hand?

As many more Americans become aware of all the crazy things going on the more likely it is for something to happen that could make them angry, ready to go blow up some governments.

Are you bragging about getting an email from Beyonce asking for a contribution to be in a raffle? You call that an invitation?
weaselzippers.us...

If so

Maybe you would be impressed that my socialist aunt and Jane Fonda were good friends and did lunch frequently.

If you're watching MSM as you say, you should have seen him on TV. Are you asking for a play by play commentary?

OMG, you outed me. It was top secret that I only work for him on the weekends.
