The Muslim Brotherhood says Western nations should outlaw anti-Islamic material and at the same time preserve freedom of speech.
That's funny. "People in the west should be able to speak their minds freely, so long as they agree with us. Other wise, not just no but hell no to
Statement condemns violence against US interests, says free speech should not extend to acts of ‘barbaric aggression’ that humiliate all
As opposed to acts of barbaric aggression that leave bodies laying...
Those are ok acts of barbaric aggression, I reckon.
With the message of God, Islam, Prophet Mohammed pulled peoples out of the abyss of backwardness and barbarism to the heights of sophistication
and honorable humanity.
He lit the pathways of progress and human thought for all mankind, with pure faith in the one God, belief in all Messengers without distinction or
discrimination, full respect and reverence for all Prophets.....
Ignoring diplomatic immunities and killing off diplomats, crucifying Copts, executing tourists, all these are most excellent ways for a people to
display their escape from the abyss of backwardness and barbarism, yes? What better way to "light the pathways of progress" than by burning the fat
from the bodies of the dead to illuminate and enlighten?
The West has passed and imposed laws that punish those who deny or express dissident views on the Holocaust or question the number of Jews killed by
Hitler, a topic which is purely historical, not a sacred doctrine.
Muslim Brotherhood Statement on Anti-Islam Film
I know of NO US laws that punish those who deny the holocaust. Perhaps the Brotherhood could point those out to me... or maybe they need to learn to
separate the US from "the west", if they are going to make sweeping - and erroneous - statements like that.
Lets be honest here. That film was a dog. It's a poorly acted, poorly produced satirical parody of Islam. It was an embarrassment to all involved in
it's production. I can't see why people would get so upset as to kill off other, entirely unrelated people over such a poorly made piece of crap. I
would think the proper response would be laughter and ridicule, until all involved crawled into a hole in the ground and pulled the hole in after
Instead, they give the film boatloads of free publicity, and make people want to see it, in curiosity as to what would so enrage a population as to
kill off their only friend in an enemy camp, as they have done with the ambassador. It really makes me wonder.
What appears to me to have happened is that the film was deliberately set up as a scapegoat, a cover for pre-planned protests and murders on the
anniversary of 9/11. the film was not the cause
, in other words, it was a convenient excuse
and cover for premeditated murder.
Today's announced protests in Egypt have been cancelled by the Muslim Brotherhood. they are demonstrating their full control over the Egyptian people
- whipping them into a murderous frenzy, then just as quickly stopping the orgy. It couldn't work any better if it were a choreographed ballet.
