Sweden in shock - thief steals from drunk man who fell on tracks, leaving him to be hit by a train

A drunk, middle-aged man falls off a subway platform and is knocked unconscious as his head hits the tracks.

A bystander who witnessed the accident jumps down after him — but not for a daring rescue before the train arrives.

Instead, the witness steals the man's valuables, climbs back on the platform and leaves his victim to be hit by a train.

The man — who was on his way home from a party — survived, but was seriously injured and doctors had to amputate half his left foot, Sweden's TV3 channel reported.

The thief left the man to be killed while waving to a ticket vendor as he left the station.

Sweden is in shock.

Makes me not want to live on this planet anymore, wait a minute...a lot of things make me not want to live on this planet any more.

If i had a rocket ship, i would have been long gone.

I hope this SOB is captured fast and some serious people punishment dished out, leaving him permanently maimed and disfigured

By the way.. as gruesome as it looks the guy lived and basically lost a foot or leg apparently. People are shady when they think no one is watching. I bet the guy who robbed the man had no idea CCTV was recording his every move.

If he was indeed drunk it most likely saved his life. People who are in massive DWI car crashes tend to live if they are drunk because the do not tense up before impact.

Eye for an eye makes the whole world blind, my friend. Violence is not the solution in this matter. Is that what you're trying to teach the children, solve conflicts by blacking eyes and breaking legs?

If you are unable to resolve issues without harmfully touching another human, then you are not smart enough to resolve the issue. I agree, the thief is owed some serious justice, but violence is not the answer. Violence only teaches fear.

Fear will only last as long as you have the bigger stick, but love lasts for life. Show this man what he has done, show him the consequences of his inaction, and show him how he has changed that drunkard's life. If that doesn't affect his heart, nothing will.

Even by the rather brutal standards American society can be said to exist on these days, that's COLD as ICE. What a little monster.....and it brings *ALL* new meaning to kicking a guy when he's down. This rodent just let a train run him over. Good Lord....what has the whole world come to??

And... HEY! There was plenty of room to pull the guy back from the track itself, if actually helping him UP was too decent a thing to expect. What an outright animal. At least they got GOOD face shots. Should work well for a trial, I'd hope.

Anyone else get the feeling the guy was stalking him.
He shows up just as the guy falls and seems to be moving in an aggressive manner towards him.
Now if he was going to help the guy it would be a complete 180 to then decide to rob him.

What a coward...what a #ing coward. This guys judgement day will come and he will regret the many things he has done.

he could've taken the mans valuables [as a sort of rescuers fee]
helped him up,gotten the onlookers to pull the victim out
while he made his getaway,

instead,thinking only of the moment and himself,
he risked somebody overcoming their shock
and hurling his vulture-lowlife a** onto the tracks
or the 3rd rail.

never mind that the moron's pic will be all over the news now



watched the video, he had more than enough time to help the guy out
and getaway clean as there was no one around
