People need to wake up if they think Jesse is doing anything to help them. He's on that show to sell books, and make money, so he can live like a king when he goes back to Mexico. I mean...that should show you all you need to know about this man. He gave up, ran away, lives in Mexico now. Won't even fly somewhere to spread his message. Joy even points out how much of a pawn he is, when she says if he actually did what he was talking about he'd be "a marked man."

He lives in Mexico in the winter months less than half the year. Minnesota is friggin cold!

Selling Books, and hopefully making a profit, not sure how that takes away from the legitimacy of the information. Much information is disseminated via the published written word to the masses. Books are a good thing..no?

Refusing to fly? Yes he has made the decision to not subject himself to the indignity of the TSA procedures. Im certain this is a great inconvenience to him, and it has affected greatly his ability to produce his program on Tru-TV, (and make money) as obviously flying to location is a needed aspect of the program. How many of us have the strength of our convictions to stand up for what we believe in this particular regard? His message gets out still, through his books, his interviews, his speaking engagements and in his revamped upcoming "conspiracy theory" program.

Marked Man? No. Addressed in a previous post above.

An WWF poser is as candid a politician as the US has today. Speaks volumes.

Ventura served as a Navy Underwater Demolition Team member during the Vietnam War. He later embarked on a professional wrestling career from 1975 to 1986, taking the stage name Jesse "The Body" Ventura. He had a long tenure in the World Wrestling Federation as a performer and color commentator, and was inducted into the company's Hall of Fame in 2004.[4] While involved with wrestling, Ventura began a successful film career, appearing in films such as 1987's Predator.
Ventura first entered politics as Mayor of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota from 1991 to 1995. He was the Reform Party candidate in the Minnesota gubernatorial election of 1998, running a campaign centered on grassroots events and unusual ads that urged citizens not to "vote for politics as usual". The campaign was successful, and Ventura served from January 4, 1999, to January 6, 2003, declining to run for a second term.
After leaving office, Ventura became a visiting fellow at Harvard University's John F. Kennedy School of Government. He has also hosted a number of TV shows and has written several political books. Ventura currently lives in both Dellwood, Minnesota and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

An accomplished man - far beyond simply being a wrestler.

~Heff

Yes, but calling him a simple "wrestler" margenalizes him and attempts to detract from his message, before it is even heard. So much easier to debate this way.

The man is a rare combination of brains, brawn, eloquence and critical thinking. He is a force!

Ah, you are right. Also a kidnapping happens every 20-seconds to anybody who has the dinero to pay. To live in these countries you have to live in a place where it is safe enough to be a Yankee.

Agreed and covered in my post on page one. Throwing the "conspiracy theorist" label on him, and only that label was a contrived and deliberate method to marginalize and dismiss.

For Ventura to WH**E himself on a liberal socialist like Joy Bahar's show is sad and purity much takes all credibility he had away. That does not mean what he belives is not true, it just means I have no use for someone who would sell there soul to get there word out there and call someone like Bahar "FRIEND".
The only reason she let him on was to make a fool out of him but he talks over someone so much that did not work very well...................they made fools of each other, no class on either side.

edit on 14-9-2012 by Battleline because: (no reason given)

Jessie is going to take the information to any outlet that will have him. Why are you saying he "sold his soul" to go on her show? Should he only go on friendly to his message programs like Alex Jones?

Its simple courtesy in Jesse calling Joy, "Friend". I am pretty certain the 2 dont hang out...ever.
Bahar is one of those people that he is supposed to hate so much( if you have watched her at all other then her show, she is just another hate filled liberal socialist) yet he calls her "friend" on her show. Is this all it takes for Ventura to call you a friend is to give him a soap box to stand on? For him to go on a show that thinks he is a wingnut and the audience no doubt thinks the same then I would call that selling your soul, integraty, self respect and he accomplished nothing but being one of Behar's stooge's.
As far as just going on friendly show's....no, maybe he should just stop threatening people (Hannety) and acting the "big bad guy" and he would no doubt get on more talk shows that weren't looking to make a fool of him.

Does this make any sense or are you looking for something else?

I hear what you are saying, but respectfully dissagree. I certainly have no love for her views any more than I have for Billy O or Limbaughs. People who hate each other participate in discussions all the time on these Talk shows, I dont see Jesse going on her show in any way detracting from his integrity. Again the term "friend" was used more in the abstract sense. I personally dont think he came off as a stooge on her show, he prettty much owned her in all ways, as she couldnt refute anything he said. She looked pretty naive and simple minded from my perspective.

As far as not being invited on other programs, people love controversy and Ventura gives it to them in spades, it is in the best interests of these jokers to have him on, as they will see ratings spikes. My guess is the reason he is not invited on more often to MSM opinion programing is the fact that he dominates in his views and is not easily refuted. We saw how Brian Kilmeade on the fox morning show a couple years ago resonded to Jesse and his relentless well informed debate style. The guy is no pushover, he will not be bullied and he will not be cowed. I respect that.

We can agree to dissagree on this topic... Friend

I guess what I am saying is maybe Ventura should choose between being so contraversial (a show in his own right) or being heard which is what seems to want.
I agree with you on most of what you say about Ventura, i just wish he would find a diifferent format to get it to the public.
Hay agreeing to dissagree is a good thing. Thanks for the debate.

The terrorists have not only won, they're gloating about their victory as we converse. It's happening right now, with all the barbarism they're committing under the ad hoc banner of that laughably amateurish Islam condemnation film.

The second we, as a secular world, began tolerating such cretin-like behaviour, we effectively rose the white flag.

There can be no compromise with abjectly bellicose systems of control, like Islam; force is the only way to deal with those who speak no other language to violence. Secular, free-thinking and expressing, egalitarian people cannot coexist with deluded fundamental Islamist thinking. Any so-called 'peace' is fleeting and tenuous and always a means to an end, for one party or the other.

Let us hope, for the sake of our species and its evolutionary furtherment, that we can 'cure' the cancer of intolerant religion before it's too late.

Jesse is ok but he is on the show to promote a book. So one must ask is he doing all his conspiracy stuff for profit, or is he doing it to help the country? And then if he is doing it for his country why does he live in another? Why dont people ask him these questions?

It was BS that he was marginalized as a" Conspiracy theorist". If people do not think there are "real" conspiracies going on every day, all around you...you better pinch yourself, you are prob dreaming.

and you don't need a group of people sitting in some darkened smoke filled back room plotting their next move, all you need is a similar mindset and the rest takes care of itself.

when god gives you lemons make lemon aide right? what's wrong with making money from a book that it takes money to make and if people want to read it then so what? Making money from the book doesn't take away from the fact he's right.

I have to laugh at the talking heads who work for ABCIA,NBCIA,CIABS,CIANN,FAUX NEWS, and the usual suspects when they call someone as direct as Jesse Ventura a "Truther".
Wait a minute there Sparky.
If one is not a "Truther", what does that leave?
LIAR.
So is it better to be a truther or a liar?
Golly, such a dilemma.
Does lying on one's tax return make one a liar?
Well not really, we have the wonderful advantage of a "situational ethic", so if it's just lying to the I.R.S. (hey, everybody does it, right?) or ripping off Safeway in solidarity with the farmworkers(which gained blessed and holy status), then lying isn't really lying, and theft isn't really theft!
Ya gotta love adjustable malum which lets malum prohibitum become a common practice (unless you get caught), and malum in se? I suppose that would depend on what the definition of is is.
Theft hadn't been so blessed and holy since the Crusades...those darned Knights had a bad habit of surviving only to return to find their wives and family had been disposessed in their abscence by the church which claimed all wealth owned by the Knights under a presumtion of K.I.A..
Well, you see, our children are taught that making value judgements which may be based on some moral code imposed by the lingering societal influence of some religious belief (as all morals are) is wrong, bad, negative, and could cause Gingivitis, Tinnitus, irregularity, gas, bloating, premature aging, and the painful rectal itch of having opinions which do not jibe with the party line.
The new paradigm?
Everything is beautiful, except Christians and Christianity, or any belief concerning 911 which goes counter to the "Official Story", even if 1,400 Scientists, Engineers, Architects, and common sense all say "We should have another investigation into the events of that fateful day."
To even imply the structural failures on that day could not have happened as we are told is to "side with the terrorists."
And just between you and me, I think we could bend the rule that keeps us from knowing who shorted all the Airlines stock that day, in fact I think the crime is substantial to shock the mind of any and all courts, so perhaps summary execution for non-disclosure would be a just fate for those hiding that little gem of truth.. This information alone could be the loose brick that causes the dam holding back the horrible truth to fail.
Are truthers the only ones who realize what financial records were destroyed not only in the twin tower's magically collapsing, but in the section of the Pentagon which was hit?
After all, the dust hadn't settled when the Patriot Act was foisted on the people of the U.S.A..
How could this massive piece of (B.S.) legislation have even been written so quickly?
And remember being told that "If you aren't with us, you're with the terrorists."?
Well, I enjoy listening to Jesse Ventura speak on issues which he believes warrant a re-evaluation, this time actually considering the evidence, and all of it.
BTW, just for fun, while T.S.A. massages your private parts you should moan "yeah baby", and "Oh, harder", and other such endearments, always ask for a tissue afterwards, perhaps requesting to be re-frisked somewhere in "private".
Question everything, believe nothing, embrace ignorance, follow reasonable statements with emotionally charged moopooh, which someone here is certain to do, several someones actually, a bit too predictable and attached to the party line on 911 to be just a person who believes in his government's inability to lie to it's people.
But we'll all play like we don't know the game, unlike Jesse Ventura.
Watch for this post to disappear as percentage wise I am the most censored poster ever to play here on ATS.
It's funny really, I had many different clearance levels, and have yet to see even any Top Secret material posted here, not even Eyes Only, or OPSEC.
Don't worry kids, the Puzzle Palace doesn't drop in here to read this malarky.
The Puzzle Palace owns the joint.
Just kidding.
Or am I?
LULZ.

The word you're unsuccessfully searching for is 'credibility'; but he rocks back and forth because he's in constant back pain; he's stated this on several occasions.

A few people here have mentioned his seeing this thread; it's unlikely. He isn't on the internet and has also stated that he doesn't use computers; his wife however does. I've tried contacting him a few times, he doesn't seem to even have so much as a general email address through an agent.

And he lives in Mexico in an off-grid house, a few hundred miles away from anything. His comment about 'liking the weather' is a reaction to the years he spent in Minnesota. (yuk!)

Look at how many have been murdered, committed suicide, or mysteriously disappeared trying to get the truth out.

Hmmm, but wouldn't 6 months be enough to get him?
