Since the Devil or Satan or whatever you decide to call him is purely a New Testament concept created by Christians how is it that everyone throughout history somehow fell into this ridiculous pardigm that did not exist for most of history?

What?

"The original Hebrew term, satan, is a noun from a verb meaning primarily to, “obstruct, oppose,” as it is found in Numbers 22:22, 1 Samuel 29:4, Psalms 109:6.[6] Ha-Satan is traditionally translated as “the accuser,” or “the adversary.” The definite article “ha-,” English “the," is used to show that this is a title bestowed on a being, versus the name of a being. Thus this being would be referred to as “the satan.”[7]"

Someone probably already pointed this out sorry I just noticed it's an old thread. oops

I think you may have missed your own point. Ha-satan is a noun, as you stated. Not a being, or entity. It's like refering to the dork, or the looser. We don't have a dark figure that controls the underworld called Dork. (not that I know of)

So having Satan, the evil ruler of Hell, be derived from "ha-satan" a term for the accuser, is a mistake at best. Thus being the main point of this thread. Unless you see it differently.

Yeah, me.

Anyone who has taken the time to read the thread will know that ha-satan (small 'a') is a job, not a being.

What is the 'Lucifer experiment'?

From reading your posts you obviously dont give power to the biblical representation of satan.

From reading my posts you would see I do not give any representation of Satan 'power' since I do not believe in Satan to begin with.

Are we referring to the term satan ? or the implication ?

Frankly I have no idea what you are talking about. How do you split your consciousness and what does that have to do with a 'Lucifer experiment'?

Sitting here... watching a spooky on tv... and all of a sudden I realized that freemasons are heavy into the afterlife experience.

Cemetery is a masonic word which means see me teary.
The g stands for ghost which stands for g-host which stands for grave host.
The daemons are bully... coward... liar... thief... Joker... whore... beggar... drunkard... proud... and traitor.
Those are the ghosts.
Then there is the mausoleum which is the lodge of perfection... grim.
Then there is the grave marker which means freemason pronounced free my son.

The freemasons are spookies who do good and condemn the folly of superstitious agitators.

Am I right!?! Go power of the people...

Freemasons don't worship Satan... why???
Because THEY SAY SO!

But... I... the Great Pinocchio have seen them in their full regalia running from "Maximus Satanicus" one day when the world was a better place.

Why do you insist on filing my thread with inanities?

All jokes aside... "sorry about that..."
But... I was on my way home one day... riding the train... and to my surprise a master mason in full regalia was on there.
He got up and left at the same stop as me. It looked as if something or someone spooked him.
My guess is he was running from someone. Not sure if this next sentence has any significance... but... he was afro american. At my neighborhood there are no masonic lodges. The nearest one is the lodge of trowel and square.
But that one is a mile away and has been shut down since the late seventies.

Also... I am not a bright guy... so I blame masons for giving me cool stuff to play around with. Is that so bad???

S&F for you ol'pal.

P.S. don't be a grump...
