And wouldnt it seem weird to China and Russia and other countries who know of this technology if we were to have perfect wether while there countries constantly flood and drought??

Surprisingly its completely possible. China even did it for the Beijing Olympics in Beijing. The problem is its incredibly expensive and very unreliable so really its not worth it.

Weather manipulation is an interesting theory. You are correct -- that type of technology would indeed be a useful weapon. If the tech does exist I can easily believe that it would be used against any enemy. Iran is noted for having a dry climate. A prolonged drought would lead most people to believe that the cause was simply the climate. Ingenious strategy if this happens to be true. I don't necessarily believe the mans claims. I am merely stating that if true it would not raise the suspicions of many people. Hell, I think a lot of people would scoff at the claim.

Furthermore, If this tech does exist I can see it not being used to help civilian areas affected by drought. The longer it remains a secret the longer it can be used as a weapon.

On a side note, I love how obviously biased the daily mail is. Is it too much to ask for an impartial news outlet that presents facts or statements objectively? Take note - I am not attacking you with this remark, Just pointing out how blatant that agency is.

Personally, I'm on the fence regarding weather manipulation, it sounds completely crazy but then again if we could do it, the technology, and our ability to do so would be extremely well hidden.

In relation to the article.. I find it curious to think why Ahmadinejad, the leader of Iran, would stick his neck way out there with a claim like this if it wasn't at least partially based on truth. If he is just making all these claims up as some people here are suggesting, it would then seem that he's trying to provoke America. Why would he do that? Pure hatred? Couldn't he make something up that was a little more believable to the average person..? Maybe.. buuut mayybeee his climate advisors have started putting the puzzle pieces together and are seeing the bigger picture.. or maybe not.. thoughts?
