Mike Klonsky, an Obama supporter and former associate of the radicals who formed the terrorist group the Weatherman, received a $175,000 grant from the William Ayers/Barack Obama-led Annenberg Challenge to run the Small Schools Workshop.

Klonsky belonged to the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS) and was best friends with friends William Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn who later became famous for their acts of terrorism.

Between 1979 and 1981, Communist Party chairman and Obama supporter Mike Klonsky was repeatedly feted with state-dinner-level visits to Beijing.

And get this… Klonsky reportedly shared offices on the same floor with Barack Obama and Bill Ayers at the University of Illinois, Chicago campus.

So it should come as no surprise that Mike Klonsky, the former Communist Party leader, is a huge supporter of Karen Lewis, head of the Chicago Teachers’ Union. Chicago teachers went on strike today for the first time in 25 years despite the fact that the average teacher salary in Chicago is $74,839 a year.

How many voters will "support" these communist connections?

These connections seem a tad weak imo as a Communist would certainly vote the democrats over the republicans and knowing someone in college does not prove anything other than that you knew the person.
Now talking about links to terrorists, then what about the links between the Bush and Bin Laden family's as well as past republican links with the taliban and then the democrat Bill Clintons pardening of a known South American terrorist a matter of days before he left office.

Personally, I dont think this is even relevant to the elections, but thats just my opinion.

Rahm Emmanual, the mayor of Chicago, worked directly for president Obama in the White House...that means Rahm Emmanual is linked to the Union President/Communist Party Chief too!

There is no point to try to tell people anything. The American school system is part of a soviet socialist education agreement that was made back in 1985. You can give hours of material, written legislation...you can make many of the connections to show it is all connected and part of a single plan, global control. People could be forced to do anything and they will still say, "well, at least I am free". It is bizarre. This has been a gradual process going on my whole life, those who are comfy don't care. What you noticed was the socialist party in key positions. If you do a little more checking you will see they have most if not all those positions already. But, it doesn't matter, we live in idiocracy (like the movie). By pointing out uncomfortable truths, the morons will chant and shout you down, they are capable of nothing more. *shrugs

In other words, Hey everybody the guy running against Obama is so crappy that I am am reduced to desperately trying to tie Obama to somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody who believes in an economic system that I do not understand. PHIL CANTOR: At my school, I looked at the calendar for the year, and there are about 15 days where students are being tested on standardized tests. These tests are not designed to help the students. Many of these tests are designed because of No Child Left Behind to measure the school. And now, because of Race to the Top and these new reforms, now these tests are being used to measure teacher performance. So, what does that mean? It means that rather than planning rich-inquiry, interesting lessons for our students, we have to focus on very specific tested standards in a very narrow way that students have to then demonstrate those skills.

To give an absurd example, this week I’m supposed to give a district-mandated test to my ninth grade biology students, who I’ve known for one week, on DNA-to-RNA transcription and translation in protein synthesis. The reason they’re getting this test, on material they’ve never seen before, is so that I can be measured from the beginning of the year to the end of the year. It is putting our students in a terrible position to do something that was never—it’s an insane way to try to measure teachers. It’s clearly sort of the business model, the corporate model of people who don’t understand the classroom, saying, "Oh, we’ll test them at the beginning of the year and the end of the year and see growth." But it’s an absurd sort of test that is not going to work even for that purpose, and it’s certainly not going to help our students.

AMY GOODMAN: And the issue of charter schools, how does that play in here, Phil?

PHIL CANTOR: Charter schools are being used to privatize the school system. There’s research that shows that charter schools actually tend to be used as a tool of gentrification in the city. The threat is that if we don’t do well on standardized tests, then our school will be turned around, meaning it will be turned over to a private charter school operation. So there’s this constant threat over teachers that if you don’t get test scores up, your school will be privatized into a charter, you’ll lose your job, your community will lose a community-based school, and students will have to sort of lottery to get into your school.
