Snow White and the Huntsman

Okay .. just rented it ON DEMAND.

Kristen Stewart is sucky no matter what she does. Twilight stank .. and the thought of Kristen Stewart (who is ooooo so gross in real life) playing 'Snow White' who is supposed to save everyone with her 'purity' .. well ...

I dug the Huntsman though. And 'William' did well in his role.

One of the dwarves looked like a small version of the fella who played 'Blackbeard' in Pirates IV.

The 'Wicked Queen' was MUCH prettier the entire time than Snow White.

Anyways .... the movie was okay. Some of the special effects were good.
I don't want to give it away but I like the romantic surprise ...

It occurs to me that everyone hates Kristen Stewart only because they hate the Twilight movies.

Likewise, everyone likes Hemsworth because they liked Thor.

The 'Wicked Queen' was MUCH prettier the entire time than Snow White.

That's what happens when you see only with your eyes.

The plot was smooth after a slow start, they slid the references in at exactly the right moments, the ending was a little confusing and anticlimactic but all in all, the movie is worth watching twice. Maybe even three times.

first time i saw kristen stewart was in the movie "Jumpers" the very last scene (if any one actualy watched it that far, i quite enjoyed it) she opens the door to the main character and the look on her face is priceless,lmao its like he just insulted her in some way then asked to donate to a charity when in fact he only asked if someone was home. completely wrong face

I think that was surprise and confusion. She was trying to figure it out in her head (as per her character, of course).

The dwarfs in that movie are CGI, I recognized one of my favorite actors Ian McShane (starred in Deadwood from HBO and Kings from NBC & Blackbeard from Pirates of the Carribean) almost immediately, and checked IMDB to verify if it was a mini-me McShane. Guess there's a shortage of little people or little people who can actually act nowadays.

Loved Deadwood, too bad HBO is too cheap to actually keep a series around for more than three years...

TOTALLY AGREE. I saw that and thought the same thing. This girl can't act. And she's too ugly for 'Snow White' who is supposed to be 'the fairest in the land' and full of 'purity'. In Twilight she was way too slutty for someone who supposedly was so shy and awkward. The bedroom scene in the first one where she kissed Edward was like the beginning of a porno flick ... it wasn't the kiss of a shy and awkward teenager. She hoovered the poor guy ...

Okay .. I went back and rewatched the movie again. Noticed some errors. These are novice and the movie crew is supposed to pick up on these and make sure it doesn't happen.

When Snow White escapes and goes into the sea ... she comes out with her shirt sleeves up medium length from her neck. Then when she comes upon the horse, her shirt is barely on .. drapped really low. Then mysteriously the shirt sleeves are pulled way up and over her shoulders ... then in the swamp they are up and down and up and down ... all over the freak'n place.

It's like her married director/boyfriend/co-adulterer couldn't make up his mind if he wanted her slutty or sultry or innocent or whatever. It was totally messed up.

AND .. when she was riding 'bareback' on the white horse ... supposedly she didn't have any reins ... but if you look, you can see that her arms and hands are in position for reins and that they must have used CGI to make it look like nothing was there. But the location of her arms and hands ... and you can even see her pulling on the non-existant reins .... looks absurd.
