RIP bill. A true American hero. I have read and own pale horse, I have also downloaded most of his broadcasts and listened to them while working. I was introduced to William cooper in 97 by a good friend of mine. He loaned me his book and I read some of it and returned it. Needless to say I went and bought it.

I totally agree that Alex jones is a shill, fearmongering bull# artist as bill would say. The very fact that Alex jones tried to claim he predicted 9/11 just proves he's a fraud. I will never watch another Alex jones film ever again because of this.

Thanks for this thread OP

He knew his stuff and sought the truth. He was a good man in a very corrupt world.

Alex Jones is the guy who jumped in his place really fast. It was almost as if Alex was waiting to jump in the mans seat. There is a lot that goes into this.. And you are touching upon the tip of a really big ice burg.

Cooper was one of the few men, I had much respect for. And was one of the real deals.. unlike Alex Jones, who promptly took his place and claimed he was the one who predicted this event. AJ is a shill replacement, who says just enough "truths" to gain many peoples attention, mostly those who never heard of William Cooper.

Don't you and the other AJ haters ever tire of spewing this stupid drivel toward him. You guys and gals are never ones to miss an opportunity to cause others to tune out everything else you might have to say.

AJ is controversial and raises good questions in many areas. You think that's a bad thing? So you disagree with him. Who cares on this thread? Go start an "I hate AJ and here's why" thread and have a ball.

Please don't reply to this post. The OP's thread is not about AJ. Don't make it one.

what's the story behind his killing/execution/murder? I know I could hit Wikipedia and get one side of the story and then some crappy Wordpress site and get another side, but I'd rather hear it from the ATS followers.

Milton William Cooper was a true patriot and genuine truth seeker, who was ruthlessly gunned down by Federal Agents in his prime. Although he was not 100% correct, he was on the right track.

Alex Jones claimed on air the Russians had nuked the US during Y2K...

Alex Jones/InfoWars/Prison Planet all his movies and articles are simply meant to scare and or anger people not pass along any kind of understanding. It’s a soap opera for people who are interested in conspiracies.

They killed Cooper and gave us Jones.

Read the closing credits for Glenn Beck show sometime. In the credits it says "for entertainment purposes". Your right it is all soap operas!

It's been a while, but as I recall, he'd been being bugged by the Feds for a long time (tax evasion, I think,) and he just holed up on his ranch in Arizona. The Feds "withdrew" and had the local sheriff keep an eye on him (probably thinking that Cooper was down with the current Militia stance that local law enforcement was valid, and Federal was not, or maybe that he knew some of them and would be less hostile, who knows.)

Anyhoo, the sheriff moved in to arrest him for some local infraction, Cooper shot one of the deputies, and they returned fire.

I listened to him for a long time, read his book, and am sorry that it ended that way, but Cooper demonstrated some pretty erratic and paranoid behaviour, so it didn't come as a big surprise when I read what had happened. And, frankly, I think he preferred going out that way.

I do miss "Hour of the Time" -- when I clicked play on one of those videos and heard "the siren"... oh... right back to 1998 or so

Can somebody sum up the gist of his book (Behold a pale horse)? I've never read it and it interests me whether he talks about reptillians, grays, nwo? I've heard about the gun-fight with the grays in Dulce and I think it's all bull....

I have a copy around here someplace, but haven't looked at it in probably ten years. The most striking thing is that Cooper was all over the map -- I'm not sure that there wasn't a conspiracy theory that he didn't embrace at one time or another. So, whatever you're looking for, it's probably in there.

As I recall, a fair amount of the book was just documents that Cooper had found or gotten from the government, including some on Area 51. He also included a copy of "Protocols of the Elders of Zion" for some reason, which is generally accepted to be a fraud.

I remember keeping my copy in less than conspicuous places, because it's pretty fringe, and with a few exceptions, like Cooper, I'm not much of a fringe person. It's definitely worth a read, though.

You're welcome man. I was seeing so many people saying Alex was TPTB's replacement for Bill. I felt the need to highlight the fact that Alex had already been around a while and managed to make Bill pretty pissed off!

William Cooper is described as a "conspiracy theorist". This is a term used by the establishment for the express purpose of dismissing someone or anything they have to say.

He was a radio talk show host, an author, a husband and a father.

Political scientist Michael Barkun characterized (Copper's book) Behold a Pale Horse as "among the most complex superconspiracy theories" and also among the most influential, being much read in militia circles as well as widely sold in mainstream bookstores.[4]

He was a person. And it would seem that he did not believe nor trust his government though he served them as a member of the military.

Its been reported that Rush Limbaugh, during one of his broadcasts, read a White House memo on the air which named William Cooper as "...the most dangerous radio host in America".

On November 5th, 2001, he was killed at his home by Sheriff's deputies...

Here's to remembering William Cooper on this solemn day.

Thank you for bringing a well deserved Bill Cooper memorium to the boards.
My birthday is 9/11. I finally had a wonderful birthday yesterday.

Something I've been reading in the responses here to your posting is that there are alot of Alex Jones haters
out there. Let me give you haters some food for thought.

William Cooper exposed 9/11 way before it took place. He gave up his life after 9/11 because, like many of you, I believe he was about to expose some other things going on and they shut him up. With him gone, someone had to take up the mantle of exposing their crap and that person was Alex Jones.

Now, I didn't like Alex Jones just because he reminded me of Geraldo Rivera with his "sensationalism" journalism. Alex Jones is trying to do the right thing. He's out there, yes he is, but the Powers That Be are not messing with him because he's all over the place. If Alex is on the right track to expose some very explosive news on what the Powers That Be are doing, they are not caring much now. Their plans are exposed and Alex is out there uncovering them. Alex Jones has changed. He has calmed down a lot from his early days. He exposed some horrible wrong doings by the Texas DPS and other agencies within Texas. I give him credit where credit is do. You might think Alex is a nut case. I want to thank him for at least being one to put his life on the line while the rest of you sit behind your keyboards being skeptical about the things Alex is blowing the whistle on. You are not willing to put yourselves out there, but chastise someone who does. William Cooper put himself out there too and long before Alex Jones has.

My Wisdom and Advice for you is to quit being skeptical. Question everything that is reported to you. Do the investigative work yourselves and quit relying on others to do that work for you. Open your eyes and your minds to the possibilities that things are not always as they seem. DO NOT trust the Powers That Be and anything they tell you. Remember that Politicians are liars and con men. None of them can be trusted. If the common people start exposing their wrong doing, sooner or later the Powers That Be will no longer be hiding in the closet with their secrets, they will all be exposed and things will indeed change. DO NOT trust the main stream media either. They are pawns and patsy's of the Powers That Be.

I just wanted to post this video and pay my bit of tribute to a hero.
This lecture opened my eyes to something about the human psyche that I had thought about for a long time, yet never was I able to put it into words like this man did...

The part of this lecture where he discusses how man first allowed another man to rule over him (metaphorical in nature, possibly...either way, it doesn't matter to me) brought insights I had previously left undeveloped...

Thank you William Cooper!
Many of your words resonate today and are increasingly relevant as the totalitarian socialist police state...and the NWO approaches completion....
Many others need to heed the words of this man....some need to see the message for what it is and listen and stop nitpicking at the eccentrics of this great man....Of course he was eccentric, what "smart" person isn't?
Consistent? Who is all the time? Everyone is sometimes misled....he admits that some of what he say may be things he thought he was misled about....Listen to him....he doesn't say "Listen to me I am right...follow me"....he calmly and collectively explains things...says, "go, find the truth yourself"....don't hang on these words..

How that goes over the heads' of some is beyond me...I guess they aren't listening because they are too busy scrutinizing...

I can only hope and prepare to stand tall, even at the receiving end of an assault rifle like this man did!

Geez...just read his bio. What a lunatic. His demise can be attributed to natural selection, a "thinning of the herd" kind of thing, no doubt. Sorry to be so blunt about it, but I'm sure the aliens would agree.
