Are we sure this isn't some cut out scene from Paranormal Activity 4?

It very well could be just an actor and someone is filming a movie or a hoax BUT if it is true, its weird how he points out to the lady when she tries to get close to him. Plus those TP falling off the shelf is kinda hard to explain.

The guy may have hit the floor so hard that the TP fell but 'im still
on this one.

looking forward to seeing better cctv capturing of demonic possession

this one looks neither fact or fiction.

that is, its inconclusive as no one has zoomed in to analyzed the reflection, nor seems to have bothered to investigate the medical (or paranormal/spiritual) history of the subject.

It is definitely fake. If you look at where the groceries fly off the shelf, you'll notice that the timer on the camera freezes for a few frames. It looks like they combined two shots from a stationary camera to get the effect and were unable (or thought that it added a nice creepy effect) to remove the reflection of the person who moved over to the shelf to flip the groceries.

At the .22 mark it does pause for a moment twice as long as it should.

Playing the devils advocate (Ha ha) Ever watch a ghost hunters show? it is common for ghost to absorb electricity from the environment around them. It's then possible that the activity of the ghost manifesting itself in a form physical enough to move the paper towels, leached the electricity from the camera, causing it to seem to pause momentarily.

So, the pause itself doesn't mean this is fake.

Yes it does. As soon as you apply Occam's razor.

So let me get this straight, you have already determined this is a possession, and thus all logical explanations are to be thrown out the window...

Thanks for clarifying that, I see now that logic and reason need not apply here, don't even know why I bothered to post.

First, let me say that I have always respected your opinion, but...
contrary to popular belief, life is not always, 100% about logic and reason.
There are always situations that absolutely defy logic. Science deals with them daily. Reason is but a tool. One that is developed over time, through wisdom and experience. But, without logic, reason is simply a guess, and no more absolute than any other hypothesis offered up in this thread.
If you always sided with basic logic and reason, you would be ignorant. Because, our entire life is spent, constantly revisiting and revising our views of reality. So with all due respect, open your mind, before your mouth. Or, in this case, before you assume, conclude, and deny possibilities.

Oh Please.. Occam's razor is used for everything under the Sun. Though it may help provide a plausible theory it by no means denotes or defines what is fact or what is fiction. In fact, many times the application of Occam's razor is detrimental to further scientific investigation.

Occam's razor doesn't provide a plausible theory. It's a tool to help you choose between multiple plausible theories. It says usually your safest bet is to go with the simplest theory that explains the evidence. Not that it's the only theory.

Sure maybe he was possessed. Maybe he was even possessed by the spirit of a pink unicorn from the Andromeda galaxy. Heck I don't know.

But without doing further testing to find additional evidence that could debunk the theory that he faked it, like I don't know, finding pink unicorn ectoplasm all over the floor, there's no reason to complicate matters.

The theory that he faked it explains everything I see in this video. Until someone actually does go to the store and investigates it and finds evidence that can't be explained by the controversial, he faked it theory, I think that's as far as we can go.

See, Occam's razor actually creates more scientific inquiry. Without it, we'd all just chock this video up to pink unicorn possession and then we'd all go home not knowing the truth. But now, thanks to Occam's razor, people like you may actually investigate the story even further to try and prove it's not fake.

See, Occam's razor is working.

I see a man having an epileptic fit...

An epileptic seizure, occasionally referred to as a fit, is defined as a transient symptom of "abnormal excessive or synchronous neuronal activity in the brain".[1] The outward effect can be as dramatic as a wild thrashing movement (tonic-clonic seizure) or as mild as a brief loss of awareness (absence seizure). It can manifest as an alteration in mental state, tonic or clonic movements

But by all means lets go back to the age where people with brain injuries where demonized and burned at the stake...

My brother has epilepsy, and I can tell you now this is no seizure. Seizure patients usually fall straight to the floor, unable to move at all, and then they eventually black out after seconds. This dude obviously knew he was in front of a camera.

Looks like an epileptic seizure. He needs to lay off anything with aspartame, aka Nutrasweet, as this can trigger such seizures.

Agreed. It looks fake. Also, look at the bottom left of the screen closely, Is that his hand pulling the lines as the stuff falls? It seems to match the timing.

This is obviously no epileptic seizure as anyone can tall you who have seen them in person. The fact the guy sits on his knees and looks/points at a guy for about 4 or 5 seconds durring the outburst prettymuch rules out the possability. This guy looked like he was on PCP or '___' and perhaps even staged....

Or... It is an actual posession with paranormal activity (the items flying off the shelve).

Too bad a simply video like this can really prove nothing one way or the other...

That was pretty weird. At first he seemed to be having a seizure but usually during a seizure your body completely locks up and you fall down.
Then at the end you can see something in the glass window, reflection maybe, then the boxes fall off the shelf, for no reason.

I saw that too, it looked as if something had come out of him and went to the shelf and knocked those items off. Weird indeed!

I'm epileptic and I can tell you one thing that was no seizure he would hit the ground the second he convulsed. Look's as close to a demon possession as you can get to me, I can bet one thing if that man does wake up it definitely won't be him anymore.

Since it looks to me that the reflection in the door is wearing the same shirt and looks like the same guy, maybe he died and this is his spirit image quickly leaving and knocking over some paper towels along the way?

Edit: I guess you have to wear whatever clothes you have on when you die for the rest of eternity. That's why its important to always dress nice.

Yup. Good catch. Definitely fake. Sounds like some of the background sound cuts out right when it freezes too.

I haven't read past this but how is the is this two camera scenario supposed to work? I will have to watch it again but the second time i watched it didnt seen any break in the action...the timer just stops so i just cannot see how this was done with two cameras and there are other reasons why i think this all from the same camera with no breaks. The counter itself can be fake but i think this is actual security camera footage. It would help if youtube would put up a player that can go frame by frame.

Totally disregarding the debunking,

So dont be caught by the tricksters know that YOU ARE ALIVE and you are stronger then these entities

That is terrible advice. No matter what religious view of "demons" you look at, they all share similar characteristics.
Evil. Liars. Ethereal. Malicious. Controlling. Selfish.

Christians believe that demons are fallen angels. Most people can't stop looking at porn.
The only victory you can have over demons is through Jesus, and it's free.

Hebrews 1:10-14

“You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end.” And to which of the angels has he ever said, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet”? 14Are they not all ministering spirits sent out to serve for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation?

From Matthew Henry's Concise Commentary

The most exalted angels are but ministering spirits, mere servants of Christ, to execute his commands. The saints, at present, are heirs, not yet come into possession. The angels minister to them in opposing the malice and power of evil spirits, in protecting and keeping their bodies, instructing and comforting their souls, under Christ and the Holy Ghost. Angels shall gather all the saints together at the last day, when all whose hearts and hopes are set upon perishing treasures and fading glories, will be driven from Christ's presence into everlasting misery.

I don't know. I don't see why you would need two different cameras. Just two separate pieces of footage. One of which may even be a copy of the first. Footage of the guy laying there. And footage of the guy getting up to create the reflection. Or whatever the reflection was supposed to be. That's probably a mistake actually that they just forgot to remove.

Probably all came from the same camera. Guy gets up. They go and edit it and stretch the frames of the guy laying there over the footage of him getting up. Ala, stuck second, cause they copied that footage over so it looks like he's still laying there.

I find it funny that people who always criticize skeptics are guilty of the exact same thing. Automatically this is turned into a ghost/demon possession followed by some preaching. It's a syndrome I call jumping from A to god.
Although god can be replaced by any term you like. Why can't it be aliens messing with his mind? Some type of electronic mind control that shorted out his brain and so on. Each as equally plausible as a demon.

In any case if you watch the reflection you can see that even though it is the door closest to the screen it captures reflections from further away. Watch the beginning you can see his reflection in it. My guess is someone in the toilet paper aisle probably took a quick peek after he hit the ground.

I wont comment the stuff falling. Granted it is odd but nothing that can't be duplicated if trickery is involved so I wont weigh in either way due to lack of evidence.
