I always find stuff like this creepy. I'm not sure why.

Though I'll point out that without looking at the video and the singing I don't hear the same things the subtitles are claiming. I suspect looking at the image whilst hearing the lyrics and the subtitles makes it more convincing.

I love back-masking as a topic because the first time I heard about it was with Led Zep and I'm a huge fan of their music.

But personally, I only hear the messages after reading the text that someone tries to discern. And even so, I seem to see a lot of nonsensical and contradictory statements in the back-masking messages. And they are usually vague and require a lot of interpretation.

Despite all the problems I have with believing in these secret messages (the name of a fantastic ELO album made as sort of a poke at back-masking messages,) I still find the whole topic fascinating.

Edit: Just saw the post above mine and wanted to agree. I find backward speech incredibly creepy! I've recorded myself talking to listen to the reversals many times. I can't say I've ever made anything out in the playback. But the sound of my voice in reverse is really disturbing and chilling. In music it's okay for me to hear backward singing (e.g. The Beatles, ELO etc.)

I've taken videos, and even my own voice and played it backwards with audacity. Some sentences or short phrases, like, "they hurt me" when I was talking about a particular abduction, where I had woke with wounds, or 'they are heros" for the positive experiences. What is harder to analazye is that like these, there seemed whole longer sentences, with words and pauses, but I couldn't get them clear, just words here and there.

The English langauge is like a back ward spell, however, those words when you play it forward, then backward, do not match.

Reversed speech has its limitations and requires some interpretation but its message shouldn't be vague, nonsensical, or contradictory if its intentional.

What I see in these videos is someone straining hard to squeeze in any conspiratorial sounding word that slightly fits the number of syllables, one of the videos says that angels and demons can speak forwards and backwards at the same time, if thats right why are they so terrible at the backwards bit?

If you do indeed listen to the backwards songs without the video and try to fit your own words to it then I would bet anything that no two people would come up with the same ones, an experiment that sadly can't now be performed as we already know what the person making the video wants you to hear from watching it

Even after reaching hard to fit words in the best the guy with the Britney video can come up with is
