What does racism or Fast and Furious have to do with this?

One minute we're talking about some stupid polling numbers, and now it somehow proves Republicans are not racist?

What?

And what does FandF have to do with stupid people thinking Romney killed OBL, nor Obama?

Arggggggg....like I said before, even people on ATS can be completely devoid of intellectual prowess.

Republican racists would have denied Mr. Obama had any responsibility in the death of OBL without even thinking about it, and likely given that credit to Mr. Romney.

"Fast and Furious" happened under Mr. Obama's watch too. If he wants to claim credit for OBL;s death, he should also accept blame for Brian Terry's death as well. I have no doubt that he authorized both operations.

You seem to be devoid of critical thinking skills.

This poll proves beyond any doubt that there are a lot of sheeple in america who don`t let the facts get in the way of their mindless following of the pied piper.
This more than anything is why our country is in the mess that it is in.mindless sheeple who follow and support their party or favorite politician as if he is the second coming of christ.

Cool Story.

Here's a survey I would like to see:

How many people have read the Constitution?

1/1000?

1/10,000?

1/100,000?

Bin Laden had nothing to do with anything. He was a rich Saudi with nothing better to do than play boot camp. Not to mention, on his death bed months before the 9/11 attacks. Also people should research what the numbers 9 & 11 mean...

Zionist Neo-Con’s are our real enemy.

Also the fact you need to stick up for Democrats by smearing Republicans is not the hallmark of an independent.

Nah, I stick up for liberals while making republicans look bad. It's not my fault these two groups of people enter into the 2 party system, as in the fan-base, the politicians are another story.

It's a slam post because people of every demographic have incredibly stupid beliefs.

I don't think they're being stupid. As I said in my OP, I believe they are being politically biased to the point of re-writing history. It's your problem if you think they are dumb.

You're trying to stick a label on Republicans, inferring Democrats are superior

Politically aware democrats generally are more intelligent than republicans. Any form a social conservatism pretty much denotes any sort of intelligence as it is a regressive mindset. This is why I don't have that big of a deal with ACTUAL conservative libertarians. They are socially liberal while fiscally conservative...republicans are generally both. I disagree with them strongly, but they are usually not unintelligent, just misled.

How many posts do you have saying Democrats are wrong for doing something?

I don't know, usually all the negative things posted about democrats on this forum isn't even accurate. So I usually have to debunk the dis-info and then people say I'm defending them. It's not my fault 99% of this forum still has no clue what socialism or communism is. But I have an anti-kill list thread and fast n furious.

What are you talking about racism? The poll had 0 to do with that? Talk about projecting, we all know what's on your mind.

And your explanation is really stupid, as you think you can predict the answer of racists.

Hey, it's a little known fact that in late 2001 Mitt Romney, in between raiding corporations, cutting off the hair of bottle-blond loners, and avoiding the draft, used his 'borrowed' Michigan police uniform to hunt down Bin Laden, kill him, put him on ice for future propaganda purposes and all this without telling a soul, because we all know Mitt hates to talk about all the good deeds he's done, and this was strictly a charitable contribution to society.

He was planning on being elected president in 2008, (and/or 2012) and thawing out ol' Osama and staging a Hollywood-style gunning down of the infamous criminal and CIA trained asset, but this was thwarted when the other CIA asset, Obama (see the name resemblance?) staged a raid on Romney's hidden freezer (in his massive Colorado ski resort-home) and stole the body.

Funny how all this was left out of the Seal Team 6 book deal.

Obama refused to authorize the operation numerous times before finally giving in to the military plans. Why would Barry want to kill one of his best buds? And then he claimed it so vigorously, one would almost forget how he claimed he was going to gut our military so completely.

Anyway, MotherJones as a source?

Hell, you're just jealous because I found a way to play the "race card" before you did. We all know what's on your mind too!

By the way, "What are you talking about racism?" and "The poll had 0 to do with that?" are not proper questions.

And your explanation is really stupid, as you think you can predict the answer of racists.

No, that's not so stupid. Considering I don't support Mr. Obama, and the fact that I'm White, I MUST BE one of those racists.

Mr. Obama claiming credit for killing OBL is no different than a manager claiming credit for his baseball team's victory. According to Mr. Obama, everything is his predecessor's fault anyway. Why shouldn't that include OBL's death? After all, it was Mr. Bush's "torture" policies that produced the necessary intelligence to locate him.

See ya,
Milt

Well almost all Democrats believe Romney is to blame for the economy, when Obama has been in charge since 009 and Democrats since 2006. There is also a poll done years ago that showed 60% or more Democrats believe Bush was behind 9/11.

I think that is because the democrats are not blinded by Bush's greatness. In my experience the hard core supporters of Bush are expecting the 4 horsemen to ride up because he is the messiah and Obama is the antichrist. There is very good arguments for Bush being at least partially responsible. I think if he is it comes down to his religious ideology thinking he is the savior and he needs to get the ball rolling with Israel. It won't happen until the church is leveled and rebuilt so Iran needs to nuke them.

I personally think Ironman (Cheney) is the man responsible for 911. He controlled everything that day. Bush just sat in a classroom with children (first time and last time) where he looked uninterested which is understandable looking at his grades. I would like them to ask the same people if Bush was responsible. I think the numbers would be higher that it was him and not Obama that killed Osama. I think that the remnants left in the party are just as smart as Bush and only know what they are told.

Id say this just proves my theory that 49% of the population have below average intelligence. However i have a solution we make Stupidity punishable by death. And think of the pluses no more rush hour traffic and no need for lines at registers.

In what some (one guy on Twitter) have called "a stroke of comic genius," Public Policy Polling decided to ask Ohio Republicans who they thought "deserved more credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden: Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. In what some (my colleague Tim Murphy) have called "the greatest thing ever," a full 15 percent of Ohio Republicans surveyed said Romney deserved more credit than the president. Another 47 percent said they were "unsure.

www.motherjones.com...

47% said they were unsure if it were Romney Or Obama
15% said Obama

Well talk about re-writing "official story" history to fit your political agenda. I guess I just wasn't aware Romney had any sort of military power or authority ever in his lifetime.

The navy seals "killed Osama bin" nobody else helped. the credit goes to the people who risked their lives not their political careers. This discussion is a waste of time

Meh. They only polled 1072 people. I'd say it's a useless statistic.

That's your argument? Double meh. Many polls are done with populations of roughly this size. So are you claiming most all polls are worthless? If that's the case, then both Republicans and Democrats waste a lot of money on poll research -- not to mention businesses making use of marketing research polling.

Yet another Republican slam post from the guy who claims he is independent.

People are stupid. From both parties. 20% think the Sun revolvs around the Earth.
24% don't know who America gained independence from

But hey, we can turn this into a R slam peice so why not. Like most of your posts, disgusting.

ETA: Romney and Obama are about equally responsible for the death of Bin Laden, that is to say not at all.
edit on 11-9-2012 by OccamsRazor04 because: (no reason given)

Way to go with the VERY compelling rhetoric. Somebody who claims to be an independent posts a thread that shows the ignorance and/or stupidity of conservatives, so obvioulsy it is a slam piece. Never mind that it is fact based. But you say neither Romney nor Obama is responsible for OBL's death, and your evidences is ...? [sound of crickets chirping]

The original poster cited facts. Your citing supposition. And yet you call the OP disgusting. Since when has the bar been moved by conservatives so that scientifically conducted polling results are disgusting? Facts are truly disgusting and inconvenient to conservatives.

Uninformed people are everywhere. This summer, only 36% of Democrats thought the economy was in bad shape, and in 2007, 35% of Democrats thought that Bush, personally, knew of 9/11 before it happened. What can you say? Close down the public school system.

Uh... Did you read the very recent NYT editorial about the fact that much more evidence has come out that the Bush administration was made painfully aware by the CIA that there was an imminent terrorist attack planned against the US and that the terrorist cell had already arrived in the US. So those 35% of Democrats (where do you get that number, anyway?) were correct.

Yes, it would have been much better if Bill Clinton had gotten rid of OBL; however, the Republicans were doing everything they could to derail is presidency, including impeaching him for lying about some hanky-panky with an intern. Whose fault is that? Uhhhh.....THE REPUBLICANS.
