N.J. Town Overrun With Anti-Semitic Graffiti, Other Messages Of Hate

All Over Manalapan Were Painted Swastikas, Plus Big Sign Saying 'Kill The Jews'

Just 10 days before the High Holidays a New Jersey community woke up to find swastikas and anti-Jewish graffiti all over town.

At least 12 swastikas and other anti-Semitic symbols of hate appeared along Taylor Mills Road, a main residential street in town, and on several side streets, painted mostly in red.

If this is a genuine anti-Semitic incident, then I hope that the perpetrators are caught and prosecuted.




The back to front Swastikas are however puzzling.

It would suggest that the attack was carried out by a person somewhat unfamiliar with Nazi imagery and hence extremely unlikely to be a genuine member of any organization with Nazi sympathies.

Nor has the image been simply reversed as is demonstrated with the English in the first picture "Kill the Jew".

I live less than 10 minutes from here and it's not too surprising since if I recall that was an area with a decent amount of Jewish population. Given some of the mentality I saw in the local high schools around here during my time back then, I can tell you that racism is alive and well in this county. (Racism is often something passed down generation to generation.) It's a shame but this type of hate has been happening around here since, well, it never really ceased probably. It's always existed.

Thats being said, looks like a stupid kid with nothing better to do found some red spray paint and decided to go plaster his ignorant racism all over.

The swastika is an ancient symbol that has been used for over 3,000 years. (That even predates the ancient Egyptian symbol, the Ankh!) Artifacts such as pottery and coins from ancient Troy show that the swastika was a commonly used symbol as far back as 1000 BCE.

These were just idiots, probably drunk, with nothing to do so they thought up this foolish mess hoping to pull someones string, which it looks like it did.As long as there is a society, there will be fools...

In this climate of our current world and time, it would be most interesting and BENEFICIAL to investigate and find out the culprit, and his social circle/links.

One John Holmes or Brevik is far too many.

Give them a fair trial by all means, even let them off lightly, but the reasons for their actions must be deduced, and acted upon by the larger community, for the direction it seeks - war ....or peace upon common grounds to achieve common mankind's goals.

This is a tad off topic but I wonder how much of the Jewish population is actually Semitic these days? After the Khazar and then later European conversions, I think the term should simply be Anti-Jewish.

Bored teens and spray paint are a bad combo. This was probably a late night spree for some local group of knuckleheads.

If your going to hate someone for what they do, learn the differences and hate for the right reasons. There are at least 5 major types of Jews religion wise then there are about 15 types of Jews based on ethnic and cultural divisions. Not all Jews are created equal. Thus it's silly to make blanket statements such as Kill The Jews.

If I had to hate any Jew it would be the Zionists who seek to exploit all other Jews that don't agree with their beliefs - these guys can be real monsters as bad or worse than Hitler ever was. Can you hate a sect of people because of their beliefs and not be wrong? I believe you can. I hate what the politicians are doing to this country. It's not wrong to hate, and it is in fact healthy if you hate for the right reasons.

Can you advocate killing people for their beliefs? The U.S. Military certainly seems to think so.

I knew kids growing up who liked the punk movement and wore swastikas on their clothing not for hate reasons but because they thought they looked cool.
