So, I bought this upside down planter last week that hangs. I thought it looked cool. But, it didn't come with any seeds. So, I had to go buy seeds. I threw pepper seeds and tomato seeds in there and figured nothing will come of it. I didn't think anything would actually grow anyway.

Today, I went to go put water in there and there is a stem!! of, something, Tomato or Pepper. One or the other.

I'm so happy!!!

I should take pictures watching my baby grow.

Too bad it's not a money tree, I'd be rich soon.

Just be careful when the start to bear peppers and tomatoes.

If you have them outside animals can pull them out-down, even completely pull them loose.

My wife uses hangers for tomatoes, which required me to build another enclosure for her.

C'est la vie.

The tomatoes are bit tastier and juicier when grown this way though.

Oh dang, I didn't think about that.

We have a lot birds and squirrels, and I put the planter where the birds and squirrels food used to be.

Duh..

Thanks for the heads up about the scavengers.

Congratulations on the new baby.

With a little TLC, you will have some productive plants and can enjoy the fruits of your labor -- literally.

Let us know how it works out.

Strawberries are supposed to grow good upside down too. I'm going to try that next year. Our growing season here is just about over for this year

Now is mostly just clean up time and preserving stuff

Next year - all sorts of plans for the gardening.

Congrats on making it work and having a brand new little life to tend to...even if it is the plant type.

Personally, I could kill a cactus in the desert.
I'll call you if TSHTF to help me make a garden here.

I didn't want to get my hands dirty, that's why I bought an upside down plant.

Your on your own.
