I've listened to the DEm convention, and cannot find fault with it.
However....
There's a múch deeper problem at work here.
The electorate is angry. Réally angry, and anger clouds judgement. Proof? The mud-slinging between ordinary Americans has become grim.
It went from pokes with a wink, to true hatred. "lefties, Commies, rednecks, bible-thumpers, gun-nuts, libruls' etc. etc.Rolling over oneanother,
spitting, foaming-at-the-mouth hateful, while The Men Behind The Curtain laugh their behinds off.
Understandable...búuuut.. No-one is -through their anger and fear- seeing the elephant in the room: voters have no chance to vote for something they
réally belive in, UNLESS(!!!!) they can cough-up a couple of million of $ ....
Thát's the problem. the whóle election-system has been corrupted on a deep, déep level through an unheallthy, nay, críminal collusion of
Corporations and Politics.
I réally do not care if one votes GOP or Dems.. I am a European, so America's business is America's business. It's nót for me to say which of the
two figureheads is better for me. We got our own problems (though not as mucn in the North, where I reside).
What I am trying to say: As a foreigner, I am in a unique position of seeing beyond bickering and partizanship. I have narly a piece of skin in tne
game of thrones in the US. Foreign policy towards Europe has always been basically the same under Dem- or GOP rule.
What i am seeing from my seat outside, is the blatant mis-use of ignorance, hate and fear by those behínd the curtain, through the hand-puppets in
the respective sides in the debate. They skillfully manipulate the voter in a blind rage, so he/she votes for the side the Corpocrats need the most.
They pumped money in Obie when they needed more of the bail-out money. They are pumping ungodly amounts of money in Mittens, because the corporations
are doing fine now, and they want regulations (they agreed to, so they got their bail-outs) killed off completely.
All-in-all it's a zero-sum game for the electorate in the middle- and lower class. No way in Hell are they able to influence politicians, if there's
not an impressive amount of pecunia behind their wishes.
Money decides who wins, nót the voter. "equal representation, voting rights, actice- and passive" are a mirage, skillfully constructed by thóse that
are truly afraid of an electorate with réal power.
Sadly this is an inflictionof Democracy that's already infecting Southern-Europe, and it's bound to get worse (Goldman-Sachs figure-heads as
presidents in Italy, Spain and Greece really?? "I smell a banking-rat, a bíg one" )
Did ányone notice that NONE of the candidates mentioned going after the true criminals on the Banking- and finance world? And, that thóse
pre-candidates that mentioned a willngness to hold Wallstreet and Tha Big Banks accountable, where more, or less, sílenced by the MSM?? Jus'
saying...
