Obama is making the speech of his life tonight and all you can focus on is me?

He will have a tough time topping Slick Willie's speech.

I still can't believe he invited someone much better at the job to upstage him at his own party.

I can tell you how his speech will go. It will be a whole lot of "me" and "I" followed up with a bunch of "I did this" and "I made this happen for you" along with some inferences of how he and government know what's best for us. He'll also throw in the blaming Bush and Republican Congress for all of his failures and tell us how if he has just 4 more years he will save us all from ourselves.

Did you get an advanced copy of the speech?

The main theme of his speech will be how he's made progress but everything was so messed up when he came into office that it doesn't seem like he's done as much as he actually has and how if he has just 4 more years he can complete his goal of "Fundamentally transforming America".....into a third-world, socialist, dictatorial nation.

I hope he goes after Romney, too, so he fulfills all of the stereotypes!

The words that scare me are in bold:

I don't want any kind of experimentation. How about we look to the past and use the ideas that are proven to work? Oh wait, that would save the country, and that's not going to move us "forward."

The reference to FDR is very telling. FDR was the only POTUS to serve more than 2 term. Had he not died after 12 years we likely would have held a coronation at some point.

He just made the same false promise he made in 2008 about how we are fighting 2 wars, wasting trillions on those wars and he is going to end the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and instead spend those trillions on roads and bridges.

I find it funny Obama started out praising his grandfather’s WW2 service in Patton’s Army. Is that the same grandfather he wrote about in the book Bill Ayers wrote; the grandparents he described as “complete strangers” who he went to live with as a child.

That was a convenient reference!
