Posting these because I am actually curious to see if anyone can debunk or validate these photos...or at least shed some light of possibilities on them.

Anyway a buddy of mine sent me these after he went camping in San Isabel National Forrest. From what I can see these are not your typical lens flares or what not. He said it was not a camera malfunction as the rest of the pictures he took that day had no anomalies in them just these few posted below. He also said that he did NOT see the lights when he was there but they ended up on camera, which made me assume it was a camera malfunction at first.

Anyway here ya go ATS! Have at it!!

It really is just Lens flare.
See my avatar, or google "lens Flare" for other examples.

Different camera lenses and and aperture iris leaf shapes as well as quality of lenses used all behave and create lens fare effects differently.

Lens filters like Polarizing, UV, and such will also create different effects as will also Lens Hoods.

The first and second pic is like no lens flare I have ever seen...and I take a lot of pics...

edi to add: not saying they are not lens flares...just saying I've never seen any like this...

The sun is partly in the pictures so guessing flare/reflection here wouldn't be a long shot!
If not, it's photoshop!
