So you don't consider the military Government jobs.

It's hard to give you any credibility when you over look such available data.

us-military-branches.findthedata.org...

No, government doesn't create jobs. Government dosent create products, goverment dosent create goods. It doesn't create revenue without taking from others. Military is a service to your country, not a job. Name one government job that doesn't take money from the people to create a job?

Sure it does... What do you think subsidies are used for? To roll joints with?

Edit: To roll joints in the back seat of your Camaro with? A manufacturer with its own finance arm that also received bailout funds.

For the nation's 18 largest banks, that's $76 billion...

I am not sure how you think it is bad that the economy is starting rev up again.

I you sure your perceptions are not tainted by information that you expose yourself to?

I did not make up this data, it is real, which is why I do not see the negative that
you perceive.

No....But the media did.
No this is not accurate information.
and NO you cannot prove it, the media cannot prove it and if you buy this crap, well, it IS YOU, Sir or Ma'am who are deluded.

People debate anything these days... Especially when truth is only perception for most.

Republicans

Richard Nixon: Increase of 7.1 million jobs
Gerald Ford: Increase of 1.3 million jobs
Ronald Reagan: Increase of 14.7 million jobs
George H.W. Bush: Increase of 1.5 million jobs
George W. Bush: Decline of 646,000 jobs

Total: Increase of 23.9 million jobs under Republican presidents

Democrats

John F. Kennedy: Increase of 2.7 million jobs
Lyndon B. Johnson: Increase of 9.5 million jobs
Jimmy Carter: Increase of 9.0 million jobs
Bill Clinton: Increase of 20.8 million jobs
Barack Obama: Increase of 332,000 jobs

Total: Increase of 42.3 million jobs.

Nearly two-fold.

Are you happy America has gained 200,000 jobs this last month?

If anyone reads this thread it sound like that is BAD news for most
who have participated.

Is this because they cannot accept reality or is it because they hate America
and love more people on welfare?

If you want to label me something, label me a realist. I realize the only thing keeping this sinking ship of a Corporatocracy afloat is Government providing bailouts backed by US tax payers. Say hello to Moby for me.

Not the musician.

Very serious -

The more people who are working, the less people are using WELFARE

The more people who are working, the less people are using FOOD STAMPS

The more people who are working, the more REVENUE government receives

You are so blinded by your negativity, you cannot accept something that is
contrary to your negativity.

When we are both dead, that will always be true about this moment in time.

America will be alive and well;

and you will have wasted this moment on
low, base thoughts and feelings that are not justified.

What "new" business? Are you suggesting these are all start-up companies? I'm betting they are just McDonald's and such. Companies may be re-hiring after the big let down in 08, but I doubt there are many start-ups.
I remember driving down a major street in my area and seeing how many well-established businesses were boarded up, how many just packed up and left. It was really creepy. It's not a whole lot better yet.

So put down your pom poms and come back down to planet earth...................

I am not sure who the employers are.

I am hoping they are start ups and expansion.

Some economists will point to service jobs as a precursor to middle management, HR and
accounting jobs.

We shall see

No

That is not logical.

The record could have increased further.

Now, why are you so hell bent on painting this data in a negative light?

Why don't you be honest?

Oh, this is priceless manipulation at best. Lies at worst.

The real numbers? You want real numbers?

Try 22.5% Unemployment!

John Williams, author of the book "Shadow Government Statistics," estimates that as of January, 2012 the real unemployment rate after adding in long term discouraged workers who are no longer seeking employment to the Bureau of Labor Statistics U6 number leaves us with a number of 22.5%.

By comparison the depression era unemployment rate peaked at 24.7% in 1933. If we are to accept William's number and measure depression by unemployment numbers only, we are currently in a depression now

The SHRINKING ecomomy is THE reality!

Prooduction has fallen below 2009 Recession levels!

U.S. factories have been a key source of jobs and growth since the recession ended in June 2009. But the sector has shown signs of weakness in recent months.

The ISM survey showed factories kept hiring in July but at a slower pace. And production dropped sharply to 47.2, the first time it has fallen below 50 since May 2009, when the economy was in recession.

New orders, a sign of future production, also dropped. New export orders increased but remained below 50, contracting for the third straight month.

Me be honest????? Pot meet kettle my friend!!!! I don't buy into any partisanship arguements unlike you!!!! Your hold the torch for the "Progressives" more so than most do on ATS!!

Here is why I am more honest than you, since you brought up my integrity................

I can admit, that I have made a mistake, can you?

I can admit that there are things that the right makes sense, as I can also admit there are things that the left stands for that makes sense!!!!

But the reality of the whole thing, is that you will vouch for and defend your party whether you agree with it or not!!

Now with that being said, BOTH parties are playing us against each other to create DIVISION!!! Do you know the meaning of that word, or should I look it up for you?

We can play this game of us versus them until we have an extiction level event that would eliminate this BS from BOTH parties, OR we can learn to find a common ground and actually begin to do something that would move our country and world in a positive direction!!! That is all I am looking for! Compromise so that we can all respect each others freedoms and rights and NOT be part of this partisan nonsense, that you and so many others on ATS buy into!

So you can keep cheering for your team, and continue to be part of the PROBLEM in this world, or you can LEARN to compromise and find a common ground with your opposition, and possibly make this world a better place for ALL OF US!!

The choice is yours, but unfortunately, I am not really expecting you to get it!

Welfare....going up!
Using your logic, since welfare is going up, less people must be working right?

The more people who are working, the less people are using FOOD STAMPS

Using your logic, since more people are on foodstamps now, I guess less people are working right?
Hope and ....Food stamps?

According to statistics released this week by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a record 46.7 million Americans were enrolled in food stamp programs during the month of June. That’s up slightly from May’s 46.5 million mark – and way up from the 32 million people enrolled in food stamp programs when U.S. President Barack Obama took office in January 2009.

The more people who are working, the more REVENUE government receives

Since I showed that more people are not working using your logic, it just keeps getting worse.
Media Spins Increase in Unemployment Rate as Good News

Only an abject failure like Obama could make 165,000 sound anything like good news.

You are so blinded by your negativity, you cannot accept something that is
contrary to your negativity.

I have not figured out what you are blinded by yet.
