8 are dead and 4 are injured when a bomb explodes in Iraq's Green Zone. 2 large explosions were heard and US officials are calling it an "indirect
attack." Attacks in the Green Zone are frequent by insurgents, but is reportedly rare for casualties to be reported.

A column of smoke rose above the zone after two loud blasts were heard. US forces blamed "indirect attacks" - jargon for mortars or rockets.

The Green Zone houses US and UK embassies as well. A bomb was diffused earlier this month outside of a popular restaurant. The British embassy advised all its staff to avoid restaurants.
