Today is a Day [2014WC]

Today is a day,
just like yesterday.
Nothing has really changed.
Everything's the same.

There's no one to blame,
not politicians with games,
not too much rain,
not a fear of planes.

People wake up,
they go about their days,
some of them happy,
some are in pain.

Parts of life are simple,
some are insane,
but still there's no blame.
It's only a day.

So today is like yesterday,
tomorrow's the same.
Just be amongst the living,
and thankful for one more day.
