Is that the theory where the milky way ate the M&Ms in a big war? I read about that a while back somewhere.

I do that too. I was talking about the P-47 fighter and used my fingers to gesture 8 wing mounted .50 cal machine guns whout thinking about it.

I've notied that my vocabulary is better from writing than from reading or talking. I see new words reading but they don't really iintegrate themselves into my mind until I need them to say something. Laxness on my part. Everybody should do their thinking with a thesaurus and dictionary at arms length.

Freedom and liberty are similar and are often used interchangeably. If you have something similar to one then you have something similar to the other also. But they are different words and have different meanings.

Freedom is what you have when there are no obsticles or restrictions. Alone on a desert island, a person would be free on that island.

Liberty is permission to follow your desires. Natives on the island would decide the amount of liberty the person would have.

Or one could say freedom means no rule about some activity, as was the subtext of the Constitution.
Liberty on the other hand means that an activity is allowed by a higher authority, usually with language to be interpreted.

Although used interchangebly most of the time, they actually the connote opposites.

So by coming to ATS we are either being deprogrammed, reprogrammed, or having our programming repaired depending on who we listen to. Sometimes we are also fed a pile of crap but that is also a part of the program.

LOL...this is a a very deep statement...and who the heck knows?

I know I'm considered crazy because I speak the truth to many folks, and honestly it's hurtful, because on some level I would be just fine with "checking out"...move to Hawaii and make lei's all day.....but I brought a child into this world, and I love too many people to just give up.....

But - - what is "truth"?

Is your "truth" the same as my "truth"?

No, my truth is certainly not yours......do you see any problem with the education system? Do you think there is a bigger "agenda" going on here?

I was in school in the 50s. It was read - memorize - take a test.

I was an oddball - - - I only got good grades on those rare occasions that the assignment required individual creative thought.

I always wanted to know Why. I was interested in cultural anthropology - - - not dates.

Ever read a McGuffey Reader? You might as well be using the bible as a school book.

The Pledge of Allegiance is one of the most propaganda things there is.

I support removing God and organized prayer from public school.

We are fortunate that our government made it law that every child will learn to read and write for free (paid for by taxes). Not all countries are this responsible.

If my child was in Texas - - they would be learning falsehoods about the Battle of the Alamo. These falsehoods were made legal by Texas government.

If I was in certain parts of the South - - my child would be learning about Creationism.

If my child is in California - - they will be learning the history of prominent LGBT figures.

Where exactly - - - would you like me to "pin point" - - - truth?

No doubt Annee...how does one define "truth"....like you have pointed out there is going to be a "spin" on truth depending on where you live...lol...I'm from CA, and we're all crazy...

But in this thread we are examining a thought out "plot" to train and brainwash children, and this is and has happened...and it takes every ounce of my being to resist it, the truth is I am somewhere in the middle of this whole mess...

But I am old enough, 40's, to recognise what has gone down, and I don't like it...

Born and Raised. Actually born in a trailer park in Compton. Seriously.

Why limit it to children? The thing is everything evolves. Society evolves. What is important in society evolves. We used to live by "roles". Women did this. Men did this. Children did this. etc.

We don't primarily live by "roles" anymore. Society is less defined. There is a lot about public school I prefer today - - then when I was in public school.

Propaganda - - government/society influence has always been. It just evolves like everything else.

We have become a more independent - very social world - - - more then a "hard core" academic world. Is that good? Kind of depends on how you apply it.

You could have the highest tested IQ in history - - but if you can't apply it - - you are useless.

I'm currently raising my 12 year old granddaughter and 4 year old grandson. I support "raising a child from the inside out". Meaning - - let the child show you who they are. Let them guide you to their interests and abilities. Focus on the positive - - redirect from the negative. How does each child's interest fit into society? What education does the child need to develop his/her particular skills and interests?

We also teach - - know yourself.

I start when they are very young (about age 3) with TV commercials as a tool. I explain to them they don't really want or need what the TV is presenting. That people make these commercials to try to sell you something so they can make money. They try to be creative and make it fun and exciting - - so you think you have to have it. When you really don't.

There is a difference between presenting something from an academic position and living it in real life.

PEACE - LOVE - ENERGY

The truth is the truth, whether someone accepts the truth or recognizes the truth is the issue. What a person chooses to believe structures their reality or their perception of the truth. The real truth cannot be denied by the subconscious. The subconscious will cause grief to the conscious if you blasphemy the truth. This has nothing to do with religion, it has something to do with the way we are wired. That is one of the rules of existence.

In opinion - - TRUTH is subjective.

What a person chooses to believe structures their reality or their perception of the truth.

Yes. Didn't I state something like that?

Going further and a bit "far out". I think thought is creative energy. I'm not sure we all do live the same reality.

When I reminisce with my kids - - - its like we didn't even share the same life. Memories of same events are often so completely different - - it makes me wonder.

The real truth cannot be denied by the subconscious. The subconscious will cause grief to the conscious if you blasphemy the truth.

I'm not so sure about that. False memories - - Stockholm syndrome.

I don't think we know enough about the brain - consciousness - memory etc - - - to state absolutes.

This has nothing to do with religion, it has something to do with the way we are wired. That is one of the rules of existence.

I do believe we are wired from early pre-birth development. Are you aware of the "new science" of brain scans?

Also - - it seems when specific areas of the brain are used (like math) that part of the brain increases in size.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Are people susceptible to indoctrination? Yes.

Communication with children is important - - to keep them open minded and thinking for themselves.

Isolating them from the world - - - is really not practical. It's their world. It's the one they have to maneuver through.

Listen sweetheart, I provided links to hours of material, I have studied this issue for years... if you don't have the time to even check any of the resources before you comment, scatter off... you won't "get it" anyway.

Link - or it didn't happen. Integrity counts - at least for some of us. Insulting people for asking just covers up either deception or laziness - take your pick

About the condescension: nice mind controlling trick there your own self. It only hurts your credibility

Question: what was the magic 'hiccup' word that clued you in to all this ?

Another question (speaking of double speak): what's your point?

This is all NWO stuff - - if you're into that.

Here is one place that quote actually shows: Its on a blog - - from Project Avalon.

It originates apparently from: The Devil's Seven-Prong Fork By Charlotte Iserbyt (old Project Avalon)

The blog post is from 2009 - - - its in the archives from an Old version of Project Avalon.

Here is a link to a news with views: The Devil's Seven-Prong Fork By Charlotte Iserbyt www.newswithviews.com...

The Carnegie Corporation - she has a 1934 document: "We well use schools to change America from a free individualistic economy to a socialist planned economy in the new order."

She worked for the Department of Education and saw grants and contracts - enormous amounts of money going all over the world to change education - to have it geared towards international socialism/communism.

I really appreciate your thoughtful response Annee.....yikes....Compton in the 50's....I can only imagine your reality.....I grew up on the other side of town, the San Fernando Valley, went to school in the 70's and 80's...by then they had gotten rid of the "paddle"...lol...it was the " Free to be you and Me" generation... I basically had everything a kid could want, my Mom owned an educational toy store...lol, Frank Zappa's wife used to shop there, she didn't wear shoes....

Anyways...I had no idea until recently that I grew up in the porn capitol of the world, and yes reality is relative. I lived in Vallejo when I worked in Emeryville ( Bay area) a few years ago, and I'm here to tell you that it was a total shock to the system to see how business, the law, and the whole community was more hostile because there was a large black population...you could not order a pizza, or cash a hundred dollar bill without a hassle, the banks had guards in front...all the stores close early, it really was wierd, disturbing....so I can only imagine how they treat the kids in school there.......

LOL...I don't even know what my point is....it just is.......♥

Compton in the early 50s was actually pretty nice. Left when I was still a baby - - my dad won a military lotto for housing in El Segundo.

Oh I know - - my kids are your age.

Yes this does happen and it wouldn't surprise me if this has happened in our galaxy though I doubt if the name of the absorbed galaxy is "snickers"

Supposedly we're in a crash course with another galaxy but I do not believe it will happen in our lifetime. Hopefully not..but you never know these days. Found out a few years ago that a black hole is in the center of our galaxy as well as almost every galaxy out there, and that they are in fact holding the galaxy together. Could have sworn I was thought in school that nothing can escape the gravitation pull of a black hole, not even light, yet here we are, not sucked into the black hole in the center of our galaxy.

Really wish when they reprint or write new editions for school books it would hold this new information as opposed to just have new intro pages and taking out information

Schools have been going downhill with their "study material". The stuff I had learned in middle/junior high school is now senior high school material. How did that happen? And I went to a public school, though I have to admit I had some pretty awesome teachers that enjoyed teaching.

No problem.

Curiosity as well as massive boredom
got the better of me.

I've read some pretty jacked up stuff (quotes) from those whom history has considered as "visionaries" that I felt compelled to do a little homework into that subject. And wow, there are some pretty sick puppies out there. They must have been looking through the bottom of a bourbon glass when they had their so called "visions" of a better tomorrow for America.

Good topic by the way. I've always had a feeling that there was a dumbing down in the school systems but WOW I had no idea how bad or horrific it was/is. Pretty intense stuff. But it makes sense if they want robots and not humans...sicking thought...
