children are taught to be tools not to be thinkers. THinking is discouraged in public schools. which is why my father looked for private schools and homeschooling that were contrary to public school cirriculum. He was a school teacher as well and was black balled from a few school districts for not playing ball. it is a pretty corrupt system. People are taught to accept and love the servitude.... did carrol quigley say that??

Yep yep. I was also black balled. Because I couldn't understand or accept how people would knowingly accept it. So I kept fighting and telling everyone who would listen even the wrong people. I took a lot of heat, threats, harassment and have been slandered pretty effectively. The feds contacted my family and friends and I don't know what was said but, I am avoided like the plague. I wouldn't have even known about that if it wasn't for my father telling me, no one else said a word. I suppose had I been smarter I could have saved myself from the poor attitude I developed from it. *shrugs

Thanks for contributing and that quote is spot on...I don't know if it was Carrol Quigley so I looked up servitude quotes and look lol.... there are tons of them that go way back...Servitude quotes...
Thanks again

I hate to say it... "Bush" the synonym I used instead was "ruler".
Someone asked your question early on and I was trying to ignore it because I don't even want people going into left/right politics in this thread.

Forgive me if this was already asked, as I want to ask this before i read past your OP so that I'm not influenced by other posters' opinions. What was the word that supposedly made this other person's brain "hiccup"? If we're to take it as any proof that americans are being programmed we have to know the word. For all we know she just had no idea what the word meant. Not everyone shares the same level of understanding in word definitions. As for the rest of your OP, it's intriguing I'll give you that. Lot of information. I just don't see how effective such a thing could be with the massive access to information that is available in this day and age.

No, it was a way I described the moment in the conversation. It was not the nicest way to describe it but, I thought it would be best to describe it the way I saw it so people hopefully could see my frustration during the conversation if that makes sense. That is what I meant like you describe, all of the sudden there was what appeared to be like a disconnect, like when you go into the kitchen to retrieve something but forget what you went into the kitchen for.

As far as effective, I think your right... there is a problem for "the controllers" with the internet being available to all, people are looking for answers. This is causing a problem too. I believe I heard Obama some time back say something about this issue too.... that was shocking to some.... Something about having too much information may not be good? I am sorry, I can't remember his exact words...maybe someone can find it, it was telling. It was near the time congress was trying to put some restrictions on controversial websites I think (sorry, My memory in respect to time just isn't good).

You make a good point, I think it is critical that everyone not permit government to make any restrictions in regards to the internet, regardless of the excuses they give.... give them an inch...well you know....

Very good thread. I already knew lots of this existed but didn't perceive that there could be someone or some organization controlling it. The problem is so diverse and disoriented that the Russians interview video actually makes sense. Some group of people who had a lot of patients and were willing to wait for generations could pull this off successfully. It has been going on for a long time. I can see possibilities of this happening but still this isn't enough evidence for me to point a finger at a group or organization. It still could be a system that is trying to be implemented that got really screwed up and went way astray.

The second video and next conversation are alright but a person also needs to include possible motive of the person writing the book as part of their decision to accept it as valid information. I know a lot of the evidence and tactics she says are going on are real but to include all things happening together isn't rational either. I do see the conditioning that has formed irrationality in the personalities of both my daughters and in my grandchildren. Not all teachers are following the initiatives created by this irrational system but they can't challenge it or will face losing credibility. The Woman in the video could also be working for big money also because she seems so against any socialistic activities, some of which are good. Maybe she is a stout Republican.

I like the presentation of this by the op, including her personal situation. I believe those who don't comply will be removed. I've seen this happen all over, it isn't only in the schooling system. Kids are getting so irrational that I can't see anyone controlling them. This system won't work. They are just messing up the future populations in this country, a country with a lot of military power. How is this going to be controled in the future, the population doesn't seem to have much common sense..

You would probably be amazed at how much research RealSpoke really did to pick apart your entire article and find the one thing he can use to try to discredit and bait an argument out of you. Real classy eh? A lot of the links you provided tell the story right from the horses mouth, schools have become indoctrination centers for fear and guilt based manipulation. Your taught to take a specific set of information, hold it, than regurgitate it back onto the exam paper and your judged on how good you can do this. It's rarely about what you think, what you want, its designed to exercise only very limited parts of the left brain. When I took Philosophy is highschool, I didn't learn anything about real Philosophy, I just learned the names and dates of great philosophers. Same thing with Religion class, all we were taught was the names and dates of saints and prophets etc. nothing about the real subject matter. The sad part is there are so many useful idiots that actually believe and promote whats happening in the education system, its frightening when you think about it.

Yes. And at the same time... we must remember that this person was a little child with an authority wagging a finger in his/her face using fear and whatever other methods necessary without any regard to how cruel it might be to force that child in the desired direction, he had to endure it, he was forced too. I am guilty of forgetting that when I talk with now grown kids sometimes. I myself have learned as I get older how I held onto and acted on erroneous beliefs/theories I learned for a long time until an actual experience taught me otherwise.

Well, knowing that there are many young people like you who see through the deception, gives us hope. Thanks for contributing here, nice to meet you Konduit

I googled this quote and the only place that it returns to is this thread....so where did it come from? Did you make it up?

But uh, the TPTB are failing their "socialist" agenda horribly because anything remotely related to communism is taught to be the worst thing next to Hitler in school. I graduated 3 years ago, so it's not like I'm old or anything. The whole motto of high school is graduate, so you can go onto college, get a degree and maybe one day you'll be rich. That's rather UN-communistic.

This global government is communist, America will conform.

Yeah, sure, that's why corporations rule the wold, capitalist and fascist corporations. The global government plan is to bring back feudalism.

Haha I can tell you are young, "if it doesn't show up on Google is must not be true, if its on the internet it is true"

When I went to school we were taught there is a bill of rights, but we didn't actually ever read it. There certainly a dumbing down of America, my kid brings home graded papers with stars and smiley faces just for trying, he was 'diagnosed' with adhd and they insisted he be put on medicine, which is horse s... kids need discipline, not drugs.

Its easier to label someone unteachable and defective then to actually effectively teach them.

A lot of you seem hell bent on staying in permanent denial and arguing with every piece of evidence that doesn't seem to fit inside your false illusion of reality.

Ignore this post, go back to sleep, and don't even THINK about asking for proof....

Science and education are nothing but MASSIVE forms of mind control...

How sad that so many are actually gullible enough to actually BELIEVE the people hiding behind this deception called "Education" and "Science", when in reality there's NOTHING but fraud and lies behind it.

To those who are actually INTERESTED in what is really going on and looking for answers, here are a few more pieces of the puzzle to get you heading in the right direction:

“we are told not to look into this, it’s pretty well communicated if you research into giants or other races they will end your career immediately, we are told to say it’s all 1800’s media fraud regardless of the evidence, if you ask questions you’ll be working at McDonalds tomorrow”.

"...scientists who see an intelligent force at work in nature are being fired from their jobs. ...mention "intelligent design" today and your career is over. Why are "secularists" so afraid of intelligent design?

Because they're funded by the Illuminati, (Rockefellers, Rothschilds etc.) who are Satanists. Satanists fear that acceptance of this "intelligence" will interfere with the makeover they're giving humanity. They think they are God.

"The model of human prehistory built-up by scholars over the past two centuries is sadly and completely wrong, and a deliberate tool of disinformation and mind control. ...they demonstrate a systematic destruction of proofs that show another reality than that the official story. Falsifications and even destruction of such proofs has been common for more than two hundred years." LINK

In your post you state that you were let go from your job in eighty nine. I considered that when I read your post. I see motive but do not feel you are doing this because of sour grapes. I sense you see something wrong and want to make others aware of it. I feel that your concern is real for what is happening to our children. Maybe you had sour grapes back in 90 but that's long ago.

There are some parents that are not good parents but there aren't that many. Their abuse of their kids both mentally and physically is creating the fuel needed to take away the rights of most people to bring up their kids with the morals and openmindedness they enjoyed. These good people are afraid of challenging the system because they feel that their perception may be flawed, basically they have conscience and want what is best for the kids. There are also parents that are both working and want to believe that their kids are being taught what is right. The saying "generation gap" does not exist, people are people and their conditioning within society is what determines differences.

“Rarely is the questioned asked: Is our children learning?" ~ George H.W. Bush

I don't know, is they?

Public Schools INDOCTRINATE, they Don't Educate...

If you still are not convinced that America is brainwashing your children, Hitler style, then click on this and watch all eight video clips of your school children and teachers in action.

Brainwashing of American Students

Never mind that this country's education system is already tailor-made to spread misinformation, entrench mythologies, and promote American exceptionalism to our young children. American history, as taught in schools, is generally nonsense meant to instill and preserve a sense of City-on-a-Hill nationalism, along with healthy doses of tall-tale founding myths, gung-ho militarism, and ethnic cleansing justification in the form of righteous Manifest Destiny.

As James W. Loewen explains in his 1995 book Lies My Teacher Told Me: Everything Your American History Textbook Got Wrong, textbooks used to teach our children "leave out anything that might reflect badly upon our national character."

Students in the United States are taught that Christopher Columbus discovered America and proved that the earth was round (not true); they are not taught that Columbus was a genocidal manic (true). Institutionalized racism and ethnocentrism is all but ignored in history class, Native Americans are demonized as savages (they weren't) and colonists (who were savages) are celebrated as civilized co-existers. (The reason the Pilgrims in New England had such bountiful crops is because all the Native Americans who planted them had either died from European-borne plague or had fled in fear of plague, which John Winthrop, governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony, called "miraculous.")

Students are taught that Albert Einstein failed his math class (he didn't, and was, in fact, a mathematical prodigy by the age of 12). They learn that Isaac Newton was hit on the head by a falling apple and "discovered" gravity (not true), Benjamin Franklin flew a kite in a storm and "discovered" electricity (also not true), and that George Washington chopped down his father's prized cherry-tree and then didn't lie about doing it. (This is a fairy tale created by a man named Mason Locke "Parson" Weems)

They do not teach what they use to in schools anymore. Texas approved of the new textbooks which were to be used by all states, those textbooks left out so much history that it's not much of a textbook anymore. Stuff on the civil rights, slavery, Revolutionary War, all gone. And the individuals who approved this new textbook to be used in schools, they home school their kids. Go figure huh.

I recently asked a 15 year old that I play an online video game with, "What galaxy do we reside in?" it took him a long time so I gave him a hint. I told him a candy bar is named after it, and he said "snickers?".

Yeah that happened and it floored me.

interesting.

However, none of that even comes close to answering my question.
Let me give you an example:

I tell someone "Hey my prestidigitation skills are epic dude!"
If it's someone i work with they say " Your what? Is that a word?"

This is because most of the people i work with read at an 8th grade level and couldn't vocabulate their way out of a wet paper bag.

Does this mean the government, and by extension the schools, are targeting my area for mind infiltration to keep them docile and under control? No, it means most of the people who want to work where I do barely graduated highschool and very few are in or graduated from college.

From OP:

I was speaking with a friend about a controversial issue, all of the sudden she hiccuped and it appeared as if her brain reset. I was astonished...did I just witness that? Let me rephrase this, the moment I said a particular word her brain ceased like an engine ceases in a car and the conversation stopped, took a turn..however you want to say it, it was over. Wow..(caught my interest) my immediate reaction was to play with this curious phenomena because I am compelled to understand things. So I tried again, this time instead of using THAT particular word, I replaced it with a synonym. This time using the synonym instead, our conversation got further and we were able to get just a little closer to understanding each other. How is it that this woman's brain misfired when I used one word but not when I used another word with basically the same meaning? I had to do some research, because we have a problem when there is something disrupting our conversation from getting into any depth AND because of it creating a communication barrier. How can we understand each other if we can't even get to the root cause of an issue? What I learned is people are being conditioned, trained... like an animal who will salivate at the sound of a bell (trigger) because he thinks there is a treat coming for him to enjoy in the near future. Like the "1" and "0" (stop and go) in a computer program.

People act differently around people they don't know well. This person may well be able to talk up a blue streak on that particular subject just will not do so with someone they don't know well enough. What someone "talks" about on an internet forum is still not viewed as normally talked about in an average conversation. I have even heard mentioned not to discuss religion or politics due to it being impolite.

As far as religion it would go like this:

Hey i dont believe in God...

These questions evoke strong feelings and convictions, things may get testy and opinionated...and for what purpose?

I think it's interesting, possibly telling, that somebody could rationalise a friend's absence seizure (or similar "zone-out") as a "brain reset" caused by a control word. My first reaction would have been to ask my friend if I was boring them, and apologise for waffling. Although I'm not one to cast aspersions, I would say your reaction to the event is close to delusional.
As for the dumbing down of America, well, is that really happening? I doubt actual facts would substantiate that conjecture. The US has a 99% literacy rate in over 15's. Among the country's adult population, over 85 percent have completed high school and 27 percent have received a bachelor's degree or higher. I would postulate your sacking as a teacher has left unhealed baggage. To you, the school system has become some nefarious perversion that is poisoning the minds of our children. It really isn't the case.

So you would attributed my frustration with my friend as a mental disorder? Honey, I took psychology and a few years of it. If you are so bold enough to make such a character assassination at least sound like you know how to appropriately apply a psychological illness (amateur provocateur huh ...don't worry, with practice you will improve).

For the rest of your comment pfft.... what does any of that matter? Grades are based on what they believe, attitudes and feelings not facts. It is the case, and I think enough proof is provided in the book I linked alone. It's in the written legislation too.

Knowledge of words does not make you smarter, it makes you more knowledgeable. Maybe you should self analyze. I am not even going to bother looking up that word, I don't need to know it. I probably know ten words that mean the same thing if used in a sentence. Learning more and more words just makes you appear more intelligence, it is not an indicator of true intelligence. Your coworkers probably looked at you strangely for using a word in the wrong situation. Using language appropriate to the situation is the wise thing to do.

which was my point exactly. using a word someone doesn't know the definition of doesn't indicate anything other than that they are not aware of what that word means.

the prestidigitation part was a fictional example.

there's nothing to analyze. it was an example, one meant to show that just because someone doesn't know what a word means it is not indicative of a systematic dumbing down of the population, or that their brain "hiccuped". gotta remove that chip on your shoulder dude

Reread your first post with an open mind and see if you can see what I saw. When I reread your first post I commented on I see some evidence of what you say in the second post but I also see what I saw.
