They are the product of the 80s campaign to prep and religiously educated the future leaders that would change the face of America from a Christian nation to a fundamentalist nation or laws.

See during the Reagan era when the religious right could not get away changing by lobbyist means the nation religious profile, they started to push accredited religious only colleges and universities.

Reagan a supporter of the christian right opened the door.

Now we are dealing with their products in politics, like they wanted.

Have you ever looked into who is laundering all of the drug money?
Big Banks.....

UBS , one of the largest Swiss banks...you know where all those secret bank accounts
are....the ones John Cornzine and Robert Wolf keep secrets about.

Do you think that Wolf and Obama have any secrets?

Why in the world are the resident ATS Republican shills here talking about Freedom and Liberty? When their party is the one that believes that rules should be made after what the bible says, no one should have abortions because the bible says its bad, gays are not to be allowed to marry because hey jesus says its bad! The republican shills should stop being so hypocritical!

Why in the world are the resident ATS leftist shills here talking about Freedom and Liberty?

When their party is the one that believes that rules should be made after what the church of Government says, everyone should have abortions, and they should have free contraception, and peoples bedroons are suppose to be private but what the hell make everyone aware and force them in to acceptance of their lifestyle choices even tho it was never about marriage or acceptance, it was all about money to give their other haves the ability to take everything they own, the house, the car, the kitchen sink the rv, and alimony, and palimony hell those evil righties!!

The republican shills should stop being so hypocritical!

I see you spent the better part of the evening leaving the solar system.

Why don't you let people chose what they do with their sex organs and reproduction?

You wouldn't sound like a massive hypocrite when you talk about small government.

I think abortion is a barbaric act according to some there are around 32,000 women who get raped another barbaric act, but there are also thousands if not millions of couples who can't have children who could and would give that "burden" a chance at life as it should.

Some people have a twisted since of morality.

Yes this is true a lot of couples can't have children. What do they do about it? They don't adopt any of the thousands of orphans in America they go to third world nations and buy kids there.

That makes a ton of sense.

The kids are in prisons, so who wants to adopt them???

What?

More Americans feel sorry for children of other nations than the ones here difference is they aren't killing them.

You just type any random though you have huh?

Some of these comments by republicans make it seem as if they don't want women to vote for them. The rest of the GOP trashed Akin with his comment so why hasn't Ryan and all of these other halfwits gotten the same treatment?

You've just reminded me that there's a movie on now with literally liberal brain-washing and stereotyping of Christians as "bible thumpers who don't even know scripture" That is just about verbatim dialogue coming out of a teen's mouth in this nasty movie and then they show the other teen, her brother, going to his room and show a cross on the wall and the guy is pointing a gun and dad comes in and takes the gun away, then the kid goes to school where his demon neo nazi Christian friends go terrorize another kid in the bathroom. It was so sick I ranted at my husband and walked out of the room
It's just liberal mindless brain washing techniques and will you ever call them on it? No because you engage in exactly that type of stereotyping. I've seen you and others here do it.

Hey, just curious.
What are you talking about?

No there is not. That is a blatant lie. The majority of adoptable children in this country do not get adopted by anyone. They grow up in orphanages, or bounced from foster family to foster family their entire childhood.

Wow

GOP is going to resemble Westboro Baptist Church in the next decade.
It's clearly headed in that direction.
Pathetic

What he meant was more Hollywood type Americans I think. It's far more vogue these days, especially for single moms who would otherwise have to jump through various hoops in the States, as the States prefer to have married couples adopt.

Hey, just curious.

Well Curious, it was my reply to someone who was bashing Christians. I just wanted to show he is in company with Hollywood lib types who hate Christians with a vengeance and continually portray Christians as evil nazi types.
Truly I can come up with as many stereotypical depictions of atheist though.

How did people turn this into a Christian bashing thread anyway?

There is a HUGE difference in making an off handed comment and supporting legislature. Now if you said Biden was supporting the abolishing of civil rights you may have something but he isn't. Your argument is null and void, and clearly the republican party is full of nut bag morons that apparently didn't see a health video in the last 30 years.

Well. the general discussion had turned toward adoption,as this is often a means whereby women do not get abortions. The other poster recommended legislation to go after the Dads.So what makes her comment less off topic than mine? You see what you want to see and so did she.
I also made it clear I do not support the position of the Republican guy, although I am pro-LIFE. I find it disgusting that the Democrats are pandering to women the way they are, but it doesn't mean I support the extreme positions held by some. I think the solutions are not in just supplying on-demand abortions but in teaching people how to support life in general. It is obvious that putting condoms on cucumbers isn't working. It is a travesty that for failure of a huge population of people to ignore the sanctity of life in the womb, we cannot come up with any better alternatives.
While the Democrat Party is pandering for free contraceptives, the real issue is being ignored, and that is that the free-love style stemming from the 60's and the programming of women to pursue a lifestyle of casual sex without consequences is not an enlightened lifestyle.
Anyway, we already put guys in jail for rape....at least last time I checked.

That's just it. What choice did Ted Bundy have when he chose to engage in serial murder? The difference here is that the Left has called the death of the unborn a "choice" in order to get around the obvious point that the babies were alive before they chose to make them not alive.

I am not sure if you cannot read or what the deal is here. I do not really care what you think someone else might have maybe meant by what they said. Let them explain themselves.

But what the hell does your reply have to do with my actual post? I am asking why he is not rescuing kids from what he says are prisons and you both suggest pregnant women send their babies to them. Gonna tell me what else you think he might think?

That is great but I still have no idea what that rambling post was about. Obviously you were watching a movie with something in it that you felt was stereotyping but the rest was mostly white noise.

Who is bashing Christians? Just because the subject of the thread is a Christian and basing this on Christian beliefs is no reason for Christianity to come up.
