Breaking: Ron Paul on Jay Leno- Unofficial Announcement of Running in 2016 + No 2012 3rd Party Run

Check out Jay Leno tonight (tues 4th). Although it has not officially aired yet, I was graced with a ticket to be in the audience of the show during the taping today. Just being in the same room as Dr.Paul brought a tear to my eye. To top if off, as he was leaving, I got a handshake from the soon-to-be historical legend. It's definitely something I'm going to mention to my kids someday

Anyways, I wanted to share my tiny bit of advanced knowledge with my ATS buddies.

So, at one point during his time talking, he made it very clear that there will be no 3rd party run. Even though this disappointed me, he made some very clear and reasonable points as to why. He finished off his response by saying something along the lines that it's more important to rest for now and then he continued to go on to say he's instead going to focus his energy on 2016 (There was a huge grin on his face at this point!). To me, this clearly shows he intends to not give up, but rather to keep on fighting until the next election period. Obviously, age will be a big factor, so we' ll see what happens.

I don't know if you were at the show or not, but, you just typed out exactly what is said on the 1min+ trailer for the show tonight. I guess I will watch it myself in 25 mins.

If this is true, then let the establishment continue to worry about how to handle him for another 4 years.

I was hoping he was going to announce either a sex tape or ET disclosure, I would have been OK with a veep run as well. So am I to understand that Paulites are going to be haranguing the interwebs for another 4 years?

Let's see.. In his monologue, Jay will mention Jersey shore being off the air and that the network said someone else will probably pick it up. He then joked about the show being like an STD in reference to other people picking it up.

Lets see.. What else.. In headlines, he does a group of like 5 doctors who all have funny names. One of then was some like "anil warriur" and another was something like "ballsitch" and another like "carolyn A. Hole".

Some other black guy will come out and talk to jay about him hosting the VMA's an him being in some skit with kanye west.

There. Im sure all that wasnt in that 1 Min promo.

I watched the NBC clip and I heard Ron saying he was not running 3rd party so he could rest for 2016...... then he followed that with a "just kidding"

So this just in, RP is neither running 3rd party or 2016.....

I will take your hug as I feel like I need it now myself. I pretty much knew what was coming down the pike. Most of us did...but we had to hold out a tiny ray of hope until we couldn't any longer. I expected it and was prepared for it, but it still sucks IMO.
