I do not understand why you guys are argueing for one side or the other on here, most people on ATS are so set in their beleifs that you are not going to change their opinions by stating facts, because now days "facts" are disputable. Ron Paul did the best he could without becoming a martyr in the literal sense.

He exposed the corruption of the republican party, has been exposing the Federal Reserve and denouncing foreign intervention.

Too bad there are not enough Ron Pauls in this world. The democrats have kucinich but he is even less noticeable.

The media has been doing its best to suppress the truth, because of the extremely powerful people who will stop at nothing to get their way. The media is the reason for the tyranny of america and to a lesser extent of the world.

It is up to the rest of the people to awaken from their deep slumber. I am not sure it is even possible given the level of corruption and ignorance.

Wake up and vote for a third party. Stop this "lesser of two evil" smelly BULL#!!

And ensure probably stock market crash, depression, and more class warfare while nothing gets done? Paul would have made history - real history - as President. Voting 3rd party guarantees Obama, continued unemployment, mind boggling deficits, and continued uneven foreign policy. Too much is broken to take an idealistic stance for this election.

The republicans, especially after reagan's tenure, have become the worst party on this planet. They care about nothing other than linning big business pockets and an overblown military-industrial complex with israel at its heart.

I was a life-long democrat till I realised they are backstabbing cowards, and almost as bad as the republicans.

I have stated many times that I plan on voting spusa, but since there is no real interest with socialism in america, the least I could do is route for Ron Paul or the libertarians. They have a tiny, but respectable chance for positive change in america, if it ever comes.

I really hope Ron Paul takes this opportunity to mention how the RNC convention was rigged to rob the nomination. I'm all for getting rid of the electoral college -- but you don't RIG the vote of the delegates and make a rule change on the spot.

I'm a Progressive by the way -- but anyone robbed of the vote is a move against representation in this country -- it hurts us all. I'm not in line with everything he proposes but that is not what is important here.

It will be interesting if REALITY knocks on the door of the Leno show; this is for the older demographic and these people vote.

Paul would have made real history as President? Considering that he could not pass a bill or accomplish anything after all those years in Congress that would be pretty amazing.

Well I kinda had hopes for him honestly, especially with all the support many ATS members have placed in him. However, as credible as his campaign seemed he has proven to me lately that he is nothing more than a joke, like all of them. He gave people so much false hope it's stupid. So freaking mad!!!

From the sart they had all this planned out probably and so many people got screwed into donating their hard earned money towards these frauds and master manipulators. All of them laughing and plotting behind the curtains thinking they are the pinnacle of creation... Damn their existence for it is lower than their money!

I respect what you cherish but in the current system Paul doesn't have a tiny chance, he has zero chance. I know these guys are patting each other on the back behind the scenes, but there is ZERO chance of a better recovery under Obama's policies. Romney has enough ego to to try to make things better. Barry does nothing but speak in platitudes. Looks good on the bottom of an Ansel Adams poster, but isn't anything remotely like an actual PLAN.

Simply put, it's not time for ideology. The Paul movement has to continue and there needs to be grass roots organizations that elect Libertarians at the local and state level. You can almost NEVER start at the top to make the kinds of changes you seek.
