If anything they should have Gary Johnson in there at least he is running.

If they did put Ron Paul up there it would show bias to someone that isn't even in the race.

1. Barack Obama - Democrat
2. Mitt Romney - Republican
3. Gary Johnson - Libertarian
4. Jill Stein - Green

I count 4 parties.

Am I missing something here or are there a few members here who have no idea about their own election system?

There are more than only two to "choose from". But because of you, the people, you haven't been interested in any other parties.
It is personally your own fault that there are only two "realistic" candidates because you haven't chosen to support the others or run for president yourself.
It is personally your own fault if you think that there is not a better party out there. If you think this way, maybe you should, for the sake of democracy, start that party?

They do not. One would think that on a site where a million threads are created about the same thing, some would focus on the alternatives. Instead, these are ignored and people get angry when a specific party excludes a person that does not fit into their party. They don't seem to understand the concept of a "party".

As you can see here are other parties they just never get much support.

As far as the last point you made it shows that maybe not everyone is intellecually equipped to vote.

You may have missed my point all together.

Because, they have to advertise "unpartial" in the middle. To get main stream acceptance they have to appear balanced, the only way to do that is to have an R on one side and a D on the other-forget the rest they don't lead to clicks and money. "Fair and balanced" like fox
