It wasnt about governments running people. It was about people running the government. We have the right to bear arms. We don't want to annihilate anyone but we could.

But we get frustrated with people like you. And yes the US Gov is out of control. But, we have ways to cure that. We dont want tyranny for all. We want freedom for all.

Socialist and communist forms of government are very controlling. The UK leads the way in surveillance cams and nanny cams. What makes you think your govt is any better than American?

There are up to 4.2m CCTV cameras in Britain - about one for every 14 people.

Oh I must have missed that part too, while you were busy bashing America as the most Capitalist country. I've read your posts in other threads and you always seem to be against Capitalism.

As for POTUS, yes, he has shown signs of Marxist ideology and is clearly a socialist redistributionist.

A bit of reading about the whiskey rebellion shows that there was conflict among the Founders but that doesn't mean that the Constitution is wrong or that the Founders were hypocrites. Hamilton seems to have been wanting a stronger centralized govt, and by then Washington was President and had to be a leader. It is typical of the more liberal minded to criticize Washington. Indeed it has been a sport among liberals to bash Washington and all the Founders.

This may have been explained already, fashionably late as usual, but I felt like adding my tuppence.

Redistributing wealth is not the definition of socialism. It's not even really something socialists talk about. It's just nonsense taken out of context long ago in history and has become of those "truths", simply because it's been repeated so often.

The main goal of socialism is worker ownership. It is through worker ownership that wealth will be distributed in a different fashion. It is more fair because the worker earns the full fruits of their labour. As apposed to capitalism, whereby the workers has to produce more than they are paid for. That extra production, known as 'surplus value', is what the capitalist (private owner) keeps as profit. Socialism simply removes the 'private owner' part of the equation, leaving the worker with all they produce, to do with as they wish.

So the goal is not wealth redistribution at any cost, not at all. Wealth redistribution by the state is not socialism.

Sorry but Im scots-irish. I even had a family member that was once royalty, but got chased away, he was a prince. But that doesn't matter.

What does matter is that my family fought in every war since the American Revolution to WWII. We never fought for bs political correctness crap and we never will. Thats why we didn't fight in Iraq or Afghanistan. You see??
