BS pocketmaster.

You don't get to choose what kind of socialism or socialist you get.

When it all goes down we all get the same thing pocket master, and it is not your socialist utopia.

I didn't know you were necessarily referring to Obama, but he was the first person to pop into my head when I saw your thread.

Yes, I have been poor my entire 34 years.not just poor but kinda very poor. ( well not the entire 34 years, that is disengenuous, I had a good 5 year run where I made good money, you know 50K, before the company closed, and took kept our last pay checks, that was so awesome, NOT!)

There are many resources for poor assistance you know, and I don't mean wellfare either. It is called a food pantry, look into it, there should be several really good ones at churches in your area, they won't feed you 3 4 course meals every day of the week, but they do help fill in the gaps, I rarely even use them unless absolutely necessary, as I don't like to accept charity, I prefer to work for what I get if possible. It keeps me honest, and fends off laziness.

This is a shallow and ill thought out post. Please explain why you feel this way because I for one would like to know why exactly you feel so strongly about your position.

I will not go into the intricate details of my life. Only that I have 5 children, work two separate jobs, and have my own computer/networking consulting business. I also have full blown MS to boot. I have no pity for those who choose not to better their lives. If I have to CRAWL to work to feed my family, than I will do so…

Well, you found him out! Congrats to you!!!!!!!! Now, wrap your mind around this small fact... We NEED socialists in the country right now because the economy has tanked, it sunk about two years ago and people are starving, losing there houses and can not take care of there kids.

The problem is after 1/2 of America works for the Government and ALL Americans are under numerous government programs who pays for it all? We see much smaller countries having a hard time with socialism, so can you imagine 300 million in a program like that?

We can tax the crap out of the rich and it would mean nothing...Right now Obama's solution to tax the rich will run the country for 10 days with what it would garner.

One just needs to look at Greece to see where Obama's utopia would end up.

Why is having a smaller Government a bad idea? less taxes for everyone... Remember that EVERYONE who works for the Government or has Government subsidies is a parasite on the system. This doesn't mean that many of those jobs are not needed, BUT it doesn't change the facts of what it is...

Sorry under the current communist rule, I tried to apply for emergency assistance when I lost my job and was denied, because my child was dictated to be taken away from me by the state in favor of the mother without a court trial and I was denied on the simple fact that I was a child support obligee alone.

I dont care about anything more than my children, but if you starve the parent...the outlook for the child is not good.

ETA: Thats not Obamas fault. Socialism was here before he even took office.

Sure i knew who you were talking about.
Why?
Because your title was so vague and general. Who else might you have been referring to? A REAL socialist?
I think your social and political awareness is waking up with a decidedly one sided bias. I'm sorry for that friend.
Once again, as stated over and over, Obama is not socialist, that is unless one defines socialist by the extremely narrow and confined definition being bandied about by one loud corner of the political spectrum.

you're so stupid it actually is painful. Obama has had to deal with ignoramuses as you for 4 years, no wonder no work has been done and no wonder nothing is fixed.

They have theorized that refusing to see the truth when its in front of you is a form of mental illess, that is if you can prove you have a brain int he first place, which you haven't

Thank you for your response, but you are getting a little personal with the name calling. Take your meds go back to sleep, everything will be Ok when you wake up.....rock abye baby on the tree top.........

Under (A) rights are inalienable, inherent in simply existing. Government exists, with the consent of the governed, solely to protect those rights.

Under (B) rights are “granted” by government which exists unto itself regardless of the consent of the governed, acting as the final arbiter. Here, what government “gives” can as easily be taken away.

A good way to start is to force ever American into a Government controlled health care system....

If Obama really wanted to help the 30 million Americans who needed help with their healthcare then there are many ways to do that without binding ALL Americans to a national health care system...well unless you have a different agenda than just helping out those who need the help...

It is amazing how many Americans drink this cool aid and will vote for the man again.

Whats a real socilaist? Because last time I checked, only one party can declare a victory and if there are different kinds of socialists you all lose at your own game.

The socialist party wants free tax payer funder abortions and labor unions for prisoners, can you deal with that?

I am in no way shape or form a "socialist". That said, I have never seen our country in such bad shape. Everyone I know is going through having there house foreclosed on, not a couple people I know, not a few, I am talking about 15-20 sets of married couples that are going through it right now.

Do I believe in socialism? In a very short answer, no. Do I believe that there is something very, very wrong with this country that the Republican party can't fix because they refuse to even acknowledge there is a problem, yes.

WE CAN NOT CONTINUE ON THIS WAY REGARDLESS OF THE POLITICAL PARTY, THEY ARE KILLING THE MIDDLE CLASS AND THERE IS NO RELIEF ONLY PROMISE OF IT THAT IS ILL CONCEIVED AND BORN OF LIES.

No matter who you choose to vote for, our taxes will increase, our gas prices will rise, they will continue to tax tobacco until it is 12.00 a pack and beer till you pay 9.00 for a six pack of High Life. You will continue to pay more to drive on toll ways, you will pay more in property taxes and food is already and will continue to skyrocket in tax.

Enjoy it, our African American brothers at one point called it slavery and they were right. The benefit they had is that there was no ambiguity about the situation, there masters called them slaves, and ruled them outright. The only difference in this day and age is that all the slaves are the same color and our masters only laugh behind our backs as they rule us and never give us the chance to rebel because they always stay one step ahead of our breaking point by never calling us actual slaves. They get away with it because to be honest most of you are just too stupid to realize it.

It's a real shame.

I stared your post because you are right. I went out with the wife for dinner and we walked past a homeless guy who was talking on his IPhone4 and he said "ya I'm still homeless...." to whoever he was talking too. He was in a crowd of other homeless who were hanging out at a local bar drinking beer. I have no problem with that, BUT the problem with many is they do not understand what poor is...some do and I think you do.

I drive past an old man who sits out on the street corner every day with a sign...he lives in my area and has real problems making ends meet, and he can't work anymore. I give him 20 dollars every week on my way to work, and that is just a small part of what I do for charity. The problem is people want the Government to be their savior and it will never be because the Government will waste more than it can ever provide. The Government is the WORST method to help... Some local state level programs are good since they are more focus, but anything with the word federal in from might as well burn 90% of what it could give.

I completely understand your situation, currently I don't own a single thing in this world, the IRS put leans on me for child support the day she filed, I paid more in support to her in the 6 months before court, than the court ordered me to pay in 2 years, but totally dismissed my prior payments as a "gift" as there was no support order, than hit me for back support!????! WTF was that #? "I paid!" I tried to argue, " how can I owe backsupport when I have receipts and she admits I paid?", " it wasn't ordered so it was a gift, plus 6 months of back support for not paying child support ( boom as the gavel fell
"

I lost everything, including hope for a very long time, almost 7 years there. I just stayed drunk and skipped crap jobs, as what's the point, no good jobs would higher a guy, that won't even pay support, and now has a garnishment, because he doenst pay. Even though I did pay?

The system is messed up, that's all I can say, I still believe it to be a lot better than any other though, it just needs to be tweaked back into shape a little.

Very little!

Good post. But the slaves often times did work that no one else wanted to do...yes. They were also shipped by England as part of the war effort and promised a better life...yes. But when they got here the people that were already established did not take kindly to it...yes. But often times they were clothed and fed and given shelter and given respect. Slavery of then is gay of now, it is no different. The propaganda and spin is what made it seem the way it does today. America was still fighting for independence and England sent them a not so welcome gift. It is no wonder that in some cases they were treated the way they were, they were considered prisoners of war. No different then when England won the trust of native American tribes to go to war against americans fighting for independence and then saying that the white man came over to America and kicked everyones ass and enslaved them all.

Heres a tip. It's all unconstitutional and they can not enforce any of it.

Steal your IRS checks and wages yes, but thats all and it is still unconstitutional.

Nope, he isn't. If you knew what socialism is, then you would know that it isn't wealth distribution.

Besides, he may say one thing, but his actions show what he really is, a corporate capitalist. They have all been the same from the start.
