So I have to ask the question first…'How many of you knew "who" I was talking about when you first saw the headline to this thread'?

If it was Obama, could you please explain why?

Onto the thread…

I came across this YT video, and wanted to get your thoughts.

“A New Vision Of An America In Which Prosperity Is Shared”

Which Way, America?

(A) The way of the Founders/Framers
or
(B) The way of the EU/USSR/UN model

There’s no middle road.

Under (A) rights are inalienable, inherent in simply existing. Government exists, with the consent of the governed, solely to protect those rights.

Under (B) rights are “granted” by government which exists unto itself regardless of the consent of the governed, acting as the final arbiter. Here, what government “gives” can as easily be taken away.

Well, fellow Americans, which do you want, (A) or (B)?

Here’s a thought, how about if we go back to a vision of America in which prosperity is earned, No?

The new way is a way that has no constitution or law.

Obama said that AK's do not belong in the hands of citizens but on the hands of soldiers in a battlefield. A few months after signing into law that America is a battlefield.

Thats why Im voting him out in November.

I knew who you were talking about.

I knew because I assumed you were one of the millions of Americans that do not understand socialism and parrot right wing hysteria.

Obama is no socialist. You are insulting socialists all over.

Does the SEP support Obama? No.

You're right. Obama isn't a socialist.

He does things more along the lines of fascism, really.

I’m an independent, and could care less for the right or left.

Does the SEP support Obama? No.
If the SEP had a choice between the two, who would that be?

Obama campaign – please keep saying “FORWARD”. Please ask your candidate to keep asking us of MORE of him. Please never stop. Please keep repeating that Obama wants us to keep doing more of the same things he has been doing. Please.

It’s like a gift whenever I hear him ask us for moving forward with his Valerie Jarret – David Axelrod – Michelle Obama dominated (creepily dysfunctional White House and Cabinet) Administration.

Keep it coming, kids. We need that kind of support on the Restore and Recover Team.

Let's continue to let the wall street thieves and the banksters have all the money. Its ok for them to take all of our houses and move all our industries out of the country. Staying the course is the obvious course to take, vote Romney/Ryan and would you like fries with that?

Yes I did believe you were talking about obama, but wanted to stop by and see for myself what you were talking about.

I choose the only answer any American should choose, as there are a lot of the B answer already, they should move to one instead of trying to turn the only A answer country on earth into B.

To respond to one of the members, obama wants the same style that has been used in the former USSR, China, the EU etc...
This makes him a socialist, there are more than one kind of socialist you know right?

Socialism is where the .gov ownes everything and divies out your portion to you, I was a kid in the 80s I claerly learned and remeber the bread lines in russia and west germany, that is not for me and mine, ever!

Here’s the thing about “shared prosperity” … everyone getting everything equally sounds good, but if everyone is POOR then they are equally sharing their prosperity. That’s the end result of socialism, everyone is poor — except the select elite few who rule us all, which is what Obama wants to be.

The “shared prosperity” Obama promises is trickle-up poverty. We’re already seeing it happen. But as long as everyone is more equal, even if that “equality” is achieved by bringing the upper and middle classes down to the level of the lower classes, in Obama’s mind that’s preferable.

Don’t build others up, punish success and tear people down. That’s the Obama way.

Me either
. I still believe in the "old" American system though, it has provided the highest standard of living in the history of man, why would anyone think that isn't a win?

Even the very poor in America live better than the rich in most countries, remeber that commies.

I was born in 68, and got to enjoy the 80’s. It was a great time in my life. I do recall the chaos with all the changes taking place in Russia. I remember seeing all impoverished and starving. There was some good though. The WALL came down…

In that same vein you're all occultists, you see only a few points of the circle when in fact, there are 360 degrees of points.

Great examples of Ad Hominem Fallacies. You do not use logic, only first principle of belief which cannot be proven logically, you don't support your argument with valid premisses, and what makes this so bad is that you generalize everything just because of your narrow mindedness and inability to consider multiple topics when seen together paint a different picture than what you keep preaching to be fasism. Get real, dumbnuts, you're already in a fascist country and don't even realize it.

You're false ideologies combined with lacking attention to detail on many topics only gives you the ability to yell fire in a theater not realizing if you do so you are going to be trampled by the many who run in fear trying to find the door out.

You folks better start using your brains to think instead of your rhetoric or your false egos, because you're all wrong. You sit there and judge a person to be what ever you want, and do not realize the best way to do the job would be to judge the fruit of the tree being good or not. Exactly the kind of thinking that got us in this shape...and I can logically deduce that Republicans are in fact an idiot tree by their idiot fruit they produce, by not working as a team and generalizing partisanship instead of focusing on the target which is the problem. Open your minds people and stop being brain-damaged ideologues of fallacy.

Well, you found him out! Congrats to you!!!!!!!! Now, wrap your mind around this small fact... We NEED socialists in the country right now because the economy has tanked, it sunk about two years ago and people are starving, losing there houses and can not take care of there kids.

That said...... Do I support Obama? ROFLMAO, hell no, he is the biggest problem. Government programs, entitlements and debtors prisons in the shape of "child support" to crafty women is where all the money is going. The more programs to help those poor lazy people or the women who can't be bothered to actually care about birth control until there pregnant and the people who just dont feel like working because it's just so easy to not do it because of entitlements... I just can't go on. Give me a break.

If your a women and you can't afford kids and your not married...... Don't have sex or make damn sure your not gonna get pregnant.

If your a guy and you can't find a job........ Cry me a river, apply for something just under your qualifications and do that till you find the right one. Trust me, those jobs are out there.

Give me a huge break....... This country is pathetic and weak on the backs of democrats wanting to feed the lazy masses who have kids for a living and those who are too lazy to work. I hate the two party system and I despise Mitt Romney but I also despise the democratic idiocy of taking care of other people. I think that is one thing the Republicans and Tea Party has got right. Take care of yourself you lazy bastards and if you can't take care of the kid yourself...... Don't have sex or pick a better intimate partner, the state isn't your baby's daddy you hoe.

A good way to start is to force ever American into a Government controlled health care system....

If Obama really wanted to help the 30 million Americans who needed help with their healthcare then there are many ways to do that without binding ALL Americans to a national health care system...well unless you have a different agenda than just helping out those who need the help...

It is amazing how many Americans drink this cool aid and will vote for the man again.
