Ok, wingsfan, two subjects I try to stay away from is politics and religion, in my opinion, they are both filled with greedy people with ideas of grandure, Politics, its who will pay the most? And religions, well, you can 't do certain things.....BUT if you go to church on Sunday and repent, and ask for forgiveness, you'll go to heaven(if there is such a place) Look at the signature....I have a hard time with that concept.

At least in Texas, conservatives are not very open about their racism. Racism in Texas, which is in no way liberal, tends to be hidden now days and only expressed when people are among their peers. People realize that racist comments made in the public may cost them their jobs and scorn from the many conservatives and liberals who don't hold the same racist views.

On the topic, greed is the reason corporations go overseas. Why pay Americans a decent wage when you can hire children in another country to work for pennies.

And I'm not a socialist, so with that being said, the people in power are NOT socialists. Far from it, Ace. You realize the average Chinese factory worker is a slave don't you? They are paid...the equivalent of $ 0.13 per hour. They have to live on site in a dormitory and they work 7 days a week.

But yay for the Globalists! The got tariffs lifted and now they can sell slave made garbage to us consumer drones for pennies on the dollar and make billions...woo-hoo! Everyone should defend that shiz like it's gospel!

Up date to Digital Domain and all the government money given to them with the job stimulus by the Republican Governor in Florida also the City of Port St lucie and St lucie County. They now have closed the place and are filing bankruptcy. Seems all the 100's of millions given to them and now 14 million dollars loss and they file bankruptcy? It is a scam and they have done what they wanted using US tax dollars to get rich and move technology and jobs overseas.

The title of the story."Laurence Reisman: Hope, change, Charlie Crist and Solyndra: How they're all connected to the curious case of Port St. Lucie's Digital Domain and John Textor" is very miss leading. It is supposed to make you think it is all Obama's fault. But in reality it is Republican mess all the way. Hell Republicans eve got put on the board of Digital Domain after passing laws to get the Stimulus money for the place. The article even admits it is all Republicans involved with Digital Domain. But a headline for the news story hints other wise.

Looking back, there were signs of trouble. The secrecy in Tallahassee over the project. The campaign contributions Textor and his friends gave to Crist and Reps. Kevin Ambler, R-Tampa, and David Rivera, R-Miami, who spearheaded legislation that would expedite the state grant. Textor's efforts to silence online critics. And later, Ambler's ascension to the board of Digital Domain.

So how do all those Republicans connect to Obama? They don't. They did this all on the Republican party lines and when it blows up they try to blame Obama.

I happen to work for an American company in Ireland and I think one of the major reasons I am is beacuse of the low corporation tax rate. A lot of external companies take advantage of this, and I don't think for a second it's because we do the job better than anyone else.

Some of what "EvilSadamClone" says of liberal minded people is true enough in my experience. Of course, there are just as many crazy, illogical conservatives out there as well. Opposite views, similar reactions and attitudes.

People are people. Either they think for themselves, or are products of influence, and sometimes, a bit of both.

This thread isn't about political stances outright, so there isn't really any reason to bring that into the thread, is there?

So my question is, can you keep it on topic, or are you forced constantly to resort to political argumentation?

What would happen to all those multi national corporations if we cut our defense spending down to defense only as the constitution designates?

The world would be a less safe place for them to do business in is what would happen.

So why am I sending my taxes, American Lives etc to DC for corporations that show no allegiance or obligations to its citizens nor country, but were all supposed to be patriotic and die for them?

Also, since these Multi Nationals owe no allegiance to any country, then why should they have a say in our Government? What are they doing in our government?
