Truck with U.S. Secret Service equipment stolen in Detroit prior to Vice President Joe Biden's visi

Thieves stole a U-Haul truck in downtown Detroit Saturday night containing equipment for the U.S. Secret Service, which is in town for a Labor Day visit by Vice President Joe Biden.

Don't these guys have guns and sworn to protect their human interested and SS equipment? There only job, when it comes down to it, is protection of assets.

I thought I HAD to have read the title wrong .....I mean..You must be joking, the secret service would never let there gear out of sight. These guys are the best of the best......

Sometimes things are hidden in plan sight.
So accessible as to be dismissed.

If it was real and covert it would have not have been locked.
(To show that it had no worth)

It would be placed some where in the open (from above) & the truck would have had a white roof.
An Eye in the sky would be watching it at all times.

Example: Gold bulk transport......

That funny but Its not that odd.

The Army has plenty of vehicles but we rented uhauls before to move equipment, we actually broke one when we loaded it way to much and blew out the air ride suspension.

Not really sure why we would use them and never really cared to ask. maybe to keep a low profile, a uhaul is alot more comortable then most of our vehicles, or maybe its just easier to rent a uhaul then to get a truck from the jerkoff supply sgt. We even used POV's to move equipement.
