Gettings from a new member (Ancient lurker) in North Texas

I have been an ATS lurker for what feels like centuries! I have finally decided to create an account and start posting my stories and opinions.

A little about me. I am an IT Engineer, consummate tech geek (runs the gamut from gadgets to propulsion and beyond). I am an avid reader, fiction, history, SciFi, Fantasy, my wonderful wife bought me a kindle so I would never be without a book!

I have an over active interest in all things Military and aviation. I love to shoot and am an aspiring machinist and gunsmith.

Welcome fellow Texan! I used to live in north Texas. Let me guess....are you in Plano, Frisco, Richardson or Carrollton? Those are the IT havens (besides Dallas proper). In any case, welcome aboard.
