Why is there always awkward pauses after Bush speaks? As if, um, are you done?

Kerry makes his point, and you know a point has been made.

Kerry handed out copies of his SCRIPT, before the debate started.

Did Bush just recite a toungue twister? That was good.

Can anyone post that picture he's talking about? Who's got it?

EDIT: THAT WAS IT? It's over? That was his closing remarks?

Pffft. I'll be back when Kerry declared winner!

Kerry married the woman that could support him.

He's just not genuine.

Are you a friend of Kerry's or know him personally? The way you are talking one might think you knew his personal feelings. If you don't mind, how do you know Bush is anymore loving than Kerry? Really...c'mon...you cannot seriously believe what you are saying.

I think the president is doing a very good job on this go round. I'd gone to the grocery stoer and just now getting to this post.

While I was gone, I listened to the debate on the radio. Bush got Kerry cornered on the Social Security issue and the minimum wage issue. Bush is right in the fact, why should America's youth put forth any incentive in school when a good wage is guarateed them. I'll admit that if a married man with children will find it difficult to raise his family on anything less than $15-20/hr. and still struggle, I'm talking about the ones who have no obligations and still stay at home with their parents.

Notice Kerry didn't want to talk about his wife, I wonder if they are trying to keep her out of the spotlight...

I think the moderator did the best job so far.

I disagree, I don't think the majority of the questions were tough enough on either candidate.

Commentator on NBC says this was a debate steeped in data and statistics, and he didn't think it connected with the American people.

Not a chance of being Kerry's friend, my mother taught me better than that.

Kerry first point alluded to the wealth of his second wife the first being worth only about 300 million dollars was cast to the wayside, for a real trophy, a billionaire widow.

All one has to do is watch the interaction between George and Laura, vice John and Teresa. No comparison.

I think Bush lost. But even if he tied, it's not enough. A tie is a loss for him.
