This man is as cold as ice.

I cannot understand how any person can identify with this man.

He would write you off in a heart beat.

The rescuing Romneys also managed to snatch the family dog, McKenzie, from a watery grave — grabbing the Scottish terrier first because it was the only passenger without a lifejacket.

They were wearing lifejackets, they could have easily paddled 300 yards to shore if no one was around.

I hope he gets elected. That way we will all be a little bit closer to the downfall of the USSA and world peace.

Actually I don't hate anyone but do I think Mitt Romney should be our president? Absolutely not with a cherry on top. It scares the hell out of me that some people can't see right through that guy.
I thought Bush was easy to read. I feel like super man because my eyes gaze right through the guy.
There's no substance.
Look I get it, our economy is in bad shape, the price of everything has gone up.(or should I say the value
of the dollar is squat)
America is still in a war(about to be in another one).
It's only natural to blame the current guy in office.
Just so you know, I'm not for Obama either.
He hasn't followed through with many things he originally said he was going to do.
But if you think for one second that Romney is going to come in
and save the day then you are in total denial. Sorry.

For starters, his track record is horrible. Just do some research if you haven't already. You literally can not
believe a word that guy says.
Many republicans don't even like Romney. The ONLY reason they're voting for him because there isn't another choice.(Other then Ron Paul but that will never happen because he doesn't
share the same agenda as everyone else). They have just settled with Romney.

And that's what I think a lot of people are doing with Romney. They're just settling because they're so fed up with the current administration. It's like blind faith. People naturally want to think that some knight and shining armor is going to come in and pick America up by it's feet and put it back on top. I get it. The reason that wont happen is because Romney,(or any other candidate for that matter) isn't going after the real issues and threats to this
country. If he did, he would end up in a casket like Kennedy. The real threats like the Federal Reserve(and the scam that is), Our freedom being highjacked by the Patriot Act all in the name of national security, wars in the middle East over their resources, saving our environment.(Which should be the number one issues for ALL governments. Because without our environment, everything else is irrelevant)
It's kind of hard to tackle the environment when much of your donors are oil companies. There's a wee bit
of a conflict of interest there; )
Those ARE the real problems we face and without going after them, we will continue to go round and round.

However, it doesn't really matter because no politician is really going to touch upon those issues because
it's out of their hands. It goes much higher then the president unfortunately.
Like I said many times here on ATS, how many times are we going to get let down by our government before we
start to wake up and realize they're not for the people.

As much as I cant stand Romney,Alxandro is on the money with this post!

I am one of those who got turned off by the MSN years ago,and in the last year,I may have watched less than an hour of it.

Its pretty funny,in a pathetic sort of way where the MSNBC crowd loves to flame Fox news, but yet MSNBC does nothing but rake the repubs over the coals.

Ill watch say 5 mins of MSNBC and see nothing but repub bashing, but I have to say this,Ill watch 5 mins of Bill 0 and I have saw him talk about actual news.

Anymore if I watch news its RT or local news.I come here and to other sites like this for news and current events, and I have been for many many years.

Humbleness and simply keeping his mouth shut about such an event would have been noble, but the fact he aired someone else's dirty laundry for his own gain makes him a scumbag in my eyes.

And I am not a Democrat, nor a Republican so my statement comes from the Realtruth.

Really you are voting for Mitt because of what the media coverage and heard a feel good story?

I guess this is what happens when a candidate is against everything he supports. When you flip flop on every single issue, your supporters can't vote for you based on actual issues.

Don't you know that this is the World Wrestling Entertainment. One is the heal and one is the good guy, then they switch roles. Bush was good then bad.Obama good then bad.Romney good then he will be bad. All the while off screen they are laughing having beers and saying " That was a good show and look at the money we made." You have an illusion of choice and anyone with anything worth while to implement will be seen as a nutcase or revisionist . It will go against the status quo which the rich elite want to keep. This is why nothing changes because they don't want change. The populace are convinced that is the way it is. Instead of being the city of brotherly love ( Philadelphia) or being your brothers keeper it is every man for himself. So the rich get richer and the poor are blamed for being lazy and good for nothing. You can polish a turd it is still a turd.

5 minutes's is hardly a good sample size, keep watching and you'd soon realize Both Fox and MSNBC are bias and attack the other side constantly. As an independent who dislikes both networks and all partisan bickering, I must say fox is the worse of the two. Sure Bill can cover news and even be fair on some issues, but he also has plenty of moments where he calls people pin head liberals and rants about how they are ruining the country. How many minutes have you spent watching hannity? They also like to bring out Ann "I make a living off of liberal bashing" Coulter. Michelle Malkin also loves to attack liberals, all their hosts and pundits do it.

If you think fox is free of attacks you are being willfully blind, they talk about obama and liberals all the time.

Here is my take on the Obama "hope and change" thing. I voted for him - you have no idea how hard that was to admit. And I ate the promises one after another and thought this guy loves us all - he loves America. But, at this very point in time I now label him a habitual lire. He said "I will bring the troops home in six months after being elected" and "I will cut the deficit in half at the end of my first term" and "I don't deserve president if this does not happen - the buck stops here" BS. Well he lied to me for sure - he did not bring the troops home from those hopeless and worthless wars, and if he had the deficit most likely would have been cut in half - PROMISE FULFILLED on just two points alone - period. But no, without any explanation to the (I am sure he thinks we wouldn't understand) population we are lied to on both counts.

I don't think I am any different from any one of you who voted for him, the only difference is you have FORGOTTEN why you voted for him and now you are all defending him just because he is a democrat. Now do not waste your time telling me and others all about the Bush hole that was dug. Because as far as I can tell Obama has lied about a lot of other things also - and it has all been covered here on ATS. I just don't get it, those who voted for him voted because of the promises he made and when he broke all the basic ones - you still love the guy? What's up with that? Is it just because he ran as a democrat? He could of ran as a republican and done even more damage - the guy is a one man wrecking ball for this country - and I do not mean that in jest.

So if Mitt Romney comes off as a hero and a straight shooter for the American people - I say he is a better man than Obama. Sure there have been questionable things said by both candidates, but if all the known back ground and experience by Mitt Romney is true - which most of it is true and good - I would say lets hear all about Obama's back ground and life experience and screw the promises - I want to hear the plan for this country from Obama's lips - something that works for real - I mean for real and no smoke and mirrors.

Mitt's plan is as good of a one as any - jobs - improved economy - make our nation more energy independent - good family values - individual rights with less government interference - smaller government and so on. These are the things that never happened on Obama's watch - period. He should be fired.

.....If you get your news from Fox OR MSNBC then there really is no hope for you.

These news outlets, among others, are bought and paid for by a political party to support a particular political party. They will lie, defame, and say pretty much anything they can to make the other guy look bad. This is common knowledge. They don't try to hide it. They are tools of disinformation, disillusionment, and division that only serve to further split Americans apart with hate.

The media at large is just a tool for big brother to keep the sheep divided, and they do an extremely good job at it. This is why they focus on paltry issues like abortion and religion. These things don't particularly matter, IMO, but psychologically they do an amazing job of making us hate people we don't even know over issues that shouldn't even be mentioned in a presidential race.

If after reviewing Mittens' history as a politician and a big business billionaire job decimating tycoon you still want to vote for the "man," then you are what's wrong with America today.

Mittens is one of the most horrible people I have ever seen on the Washington stage. He literally OOZES corruption with everything he does and does so shamelessly. He should not be the nominee, based solely upon the RNC's rules (that were, by the way, changed at the last minute to block Ron Paul, no lie, do some research. Ron had the nomination till they changed the rules.) Then, after winning the nomination, he tries to change the rules so that states are no longer able to choose their own delegates in the future, thus assuring another nomination for him next go round, or at least for someone he and his big business buddies support. This was blocked (in part) by the threat of a FLOOR FIGHT amongst the Repubs. This is a big deal, not "racism." Wonder why you don't see that on FOX? Lol

Mittens will be the last nail in the coffin if/when he is elected. Not that Obama is any better, but at least his plans for America take a little time to do any real harm, as opposed to Romney who wants to start with the decimation before he's even in office. The dems and the repubs are both so corrupt at this point that if you still support either party then I really don't have much to say to you. People like OP, people that actually support Mittens for whatever reason, they have my sympathy. People that support Obama have the same.

See through the curtain people. Look past what their news outlets feed you. They lie. It's their job to lie. They exist to divide us, so that the big whigs in Washington can continue to conquer us. Democrats and Republicans just want to beat the other side, they don't give a flying pig what happens to us. Just look at the way they talk. "I created this many jobs!!" Hint: politicians don't create jobs. The middle class does.

I'm convinced the goal of both parties as it stands is to eliminate the middle class altogether, that way its just the rich and the poor. Guess which category pretty much everyone on this site fits into? I'll give you a hint, if you had the money to fall in the former, you wouldn't be arguing politics on ATS, you'd be buying a senate seat like all the other million/billionaires.

Look at the senate. Almost none of them have any idea what it's like to be an "average American citizen." Maybe ten of them have ever driven themselves to a Wal-Mart/Tartet/United/ANY grocery store and stood in line to buy a gallon of milk with a $20 bill. %98 of them hasn't a clue what it's like to work for a living, and depend on a paycheck every week/month to feed their families. And they represent us.

Percentage of people worth over $1 million in the senate? WELL over %50.
Percentage of people worth over $1 million in America? WAY less than %50.
And they're there to look out for us? LOL.

But hey, if you want to keep yourself busy arguing over how many dogs Mittens has saved and how Obama's a socialist, (look up the definition of Socialism btw, most Americans seem to not have a clue what the word actually means.) then go ahead. Play right into their hand. It just goes to prove that their psychological tricks work. That their assumption that everyone who doesn't live in a mansion is an idiot is true. That we really are just sheeple, depending on our herders to guide us to a destination of their choosing, rather than where we know we ought to be.

We are responsible for where it sits now. We let them take advantage of our weaknesses and prejudices. We allow them to divide us. We allow ourselves to be conquered.

Until this changes, until everyone living in these United States realizes that WE ARE ALL AMERICANS; PART OF THE SAME COUNTRY ALL WITH THE SAME GOALS OF JUST TRYING TO LIVE WITH THE FREEDOMS AND RIGHTS THAT WE BELIEVE TO BE ENTITLED TO US REGARDLESS OF BELIEFS OR RACE, then we will just continue to spend our time fighting and bickering over the scraps that our masters decide to drop from their illustrious tables. We need unity, now more than ever. IMHO.

That's like admitting you eat at the "RoadKIll" restaraunt to save the family a couple of bucks. I'll have Secret Sevice guys here any minutes because I agree you thought it was the right choice at the time.
Understood.

I can't wait until Romneys kids and grandkids accidently "Tweet" something and it get's blow out of proportion.
There's a prediction I'll stay by.
I would never want that job. He can have it. Obama failed in my opinion.
I wanted him to be a better leader.
He watched his own press clippings too long.

We ALL believed, and I voted Pual last election.
Just words.

He does NOT(Obama) have the business experience to understand the financial responsibility of our country..
Maybe, just maybe Mitt will.

I'm still voting Paul, I have a concience.

Tarzan, given tax cuts to billionaires does not make the debt go down.

Romney does have a plan to eliminate the debt, he has a plan to give tax cuts,
that is a difference.

Romney is cold as cold can be, we do not need that type of person running this country.

And Romney used his business experience to perfect the outsourcing American jobs model.

Obama has done a commendable job, he is a steady hand and economy has gone from

losing 750,000 a month to gaining 150,000

nearly a million job positive swing.

I don't waste my time with the dramatics of out of this world expectations.

Obama said he would form committees to thoroughly examine each subject/problem/situation. When that was done - - then he would decide the best course of action.

Works for me.

Hmmmm, nice concern you have for your fellow citizens you have there. So you wouldn't have went out to help them? 300 hundred yards not worth your effort to help people in distress? Wow.

I can think on many levels. Yes - I can think on the conspiracy level of "the man behind the curtain".

However - - I can also think on the level of the abilities of 2 separate men. And the way they think and problem solve.
