If that is what you would like, I was just concerned that it would be too long and people would lose interest.
The readers of the contest entries would notice the new chapter for sure. Many others have used the same method for telling a complicated and long
story. Every time you add to it, more comments would discuss new revelations and the thread gets bumped more often, prompting others to read it. Since
flags are what wins a story, it makes sense to put all the work into one thread.
What I'm not willing to do is add the flags of one thread to another in order to compile flags because a writer may put in as many entries as they
wish into a contest . Some stories may be connected and others not so much. In this case, the theme is obviously connected, but in other's it might
be a debatable point. A complication which could cause friction in a competition is something I'd like to avoid if at all possible. The way it
stands now, the three threads with the most flags wins.
Edit: And what of the flags already issued to the new thread? it is a contest and one I would love to win at that.
Yes, they're split between two threads now. In the last contest, there also was another who split their story into seperate threads and I did mention
that it might not be a good way to win.
