The Warden June Cleaver.

(Please don’t take this too seriously it’s only an observation. )

So I recently moved and signed up for the Netflix free trial. They stream all seasons of ‘Leave It to Beaver’ which I’ve been watching off and on for the past couple weeks.

Well I always thought it was Ward Cleaver that was such a hard ass but the more episodes I watch I have discovered it's June Cleaver who ruled with an iron fist.

Watch it you’ll see.

So I wonder how accurate this household really was or still is.

Ah, you are literally going back and watching that? Is this a study for a documentary or something? Why in God's name would a grown human purposefully go back and watch that other than for some historical reference? Did someone put you up to it?

I would say it's pretty accurate. Everyone knows the woman rules the roost. Even back in the day when men bragged about "wearing the pants" when they got home...they gave in too.

Treat him like a king and train him like a dog is what I have always heard.

No Flames!! I kid.

I grew up watching Leave it to Beaver and loved it. Now that you have brought it up, I may have to pull a marathon of it myself.

Leave It To Beaver was a good show. I'll watch an episode once in a while.

And yes, I think that the woman was often the boss at home in those days.
