Any government agency that has continous contact with the public has their own security force.
DHS is no different.
These people have to practice with their weapon. This takes ammo.
Check with your local policeman and see how many rounds a year he goes through. I'll bet its close to a thousand.
Im not discounting what you are saying, but people don't target shoot with hollow points. I dont think the purchase was anything sinister though.
Maybe they will be illegal soon and DHS wanted to stock up. Maybe some dummy thought they could buy them all so civilians couldnt. I dont know the
answer but again i doubt it was sinister intentions.
Hollow points are expensive yo, almost double the cost. Too expensive for practicing with and pointless unless you want to try and explode
watermelons.
Someone who says target shooting with hollow points is normal for any "Civilian" governmental agency, obviously has no clue what it is they are
saying.
ordinary 9mm is "Normal" for going through plywood and paper.
Hollow points are designed to tear massive holes in flesh and smash bones.
