I had an issue with too many characters and didn't realize a portion of one of the last sentences, about principles, was cut off and didn't make any sense.


I won't do it again, I promise!
I didn't change anything, just put the sentence back together.

Okay, yes, I will do that. I would have done that at the time but I had forgotten that I had read that and then I re-read the rules after posting and realized my error.

Researching Romney has been an interesting experience, and my own opinion is being swayed. The more I cross-reference, the more I like. The truth comes out if you look for it.

Second post up, in the New Age Movement debate with 1littlewolf.

We both have one post each left.

It's been fun debating someone so closely aligned to my own belief system, and having to take the opposite side of the discussion. Being challenged to present a contrary position to your own mindset is what the debate forum allows you to explore.

Sometimes, when you argue for a side that was not yours, you start believing in it, because you are looking for evidence to defend it. Quite fascinating that is.

My First Post is up in the Obama Deserves a Second Term Debate with cenpuppie.

Curiously enough, the debates I am involved in are with brand spanking new "fighters", and it is the first debate for each of them. Hopefully, they will get the essence of a debate, and learn from the process.

The debates, as stated before, are an excellent way to hone your critical thinking skills, and as I move forward, I am gaining a lot from debating new participants as well. I hope everyone gains something from participating in these, our debates.

Still trying to think of a good subject.

One or two spring to mind.

* The myth of overpopulation.

* The rise of technology but the breakdown of culture
