And you didn't answer my question.

I mean, you did type some words but they somehow were not related to the post you quoted.

Please answer me here.

Do you really think that things are going to change under Mitt Romney and why?

Yes, of course they will. You have just been listening to the wrong people.

This is why:

Romney = Capitalist

Obama = Socialist

A capitalist will give us 7% growth in GDP.

Obama would give us more stagnation and more debt.

For a guy who still works most days (at 82) he is probably a little burt out. With half of the country on the dole I can understand why people did not get what was kind of sad in spots of his speech. Working at 82 does take its toll.
The Obama routine was a "skit", is there no one on ATS over 50? It was the wooden dumby with hand up the back routine, ring any bells?
Eastwood is still one of the best treasures this country has and will be after he is gone, he is the apitome of what this country was..................hard work and perseverance..............and a little tired.

Clint is an ACTOR, why is he speaking at a political convention?

Because they are ALL ACTORS.

It was hilarious, but the best part was watching some of the people in the audience squirm at the 'F you' jokes (not once, but TWICE!!) and the part where he thought we should get out of Afghanistan now (not Romney's plan) and about not electing lawyers (both mainstream candidates are).

Apparently he was getting the ! red light, wrap it up ! signal after just a few minutes and ignored it and continued talking. I'd be distracted by that too, but good for him for continuing.

To the extent that this represents poor RNC planning, poor RNC extravaganza skills (what, no t'Rump with a hhuuuggeeee speech??) it shows what kind of people Romney hires, what kind of people Romney relies on, what kind of people Romney will pick to thoroughly screw the country up once he's parked his sorry elite rich felonious ass in the White House.

If they can't control the message at this stage in the game, what's that portend for the future?

I'm voting for Gary Johnson. He's not a lawyer, he's a pragmatist. He'd end the wars right this minute, end the IRS in favor of the flat tax (based on consumption only) and a helluva lot more neither of these two hand picked puppets will ever do.

It is incredible what the sheeple will believe. Obama is a great friend of Wall Street.* You should stop watching fox “news” and think for yourself!
You might call medicare and social security socialism but most Americans do not. Did you know that private sector jobs have dramatically increased under Obama? However, the over all unemployment has stayed about the same because under his administration public jobs have been drastically cut back!
* and that is one of my complaints about him.

Do some research! Unregulated capitalism (what Romney espouses) is what caused our mess. Remember, Bush? And just like the roaring unregulated 1920s that caused the Great Depression, this one will also take more then a decade to crawl out of.

Simply stating your position is not an argument. I have the facts and history on my side. Do you honestly believe that those that control the country would let a Socialist become president? Plus as I said, public jobs have DECREASED under Obama. So go ahead vote for Bush revisited!

Yes, it has been done before. Obama actually did a pretty good job masquerading as a

moderate. We all knew the constitution would slow him down and it did.

------------------

We need to shutdown the EPA and the Department of Education.

- Reduce the size of government. -

Grow the GDP and reduce the National Debt to $12 Trillion over the next 8 years.

But if you ignore every single word Obama says and just watch what he does,

you will see a frustrated Radical Marxist whose time in office is thankfully coming

to an end.

Clint Eastwood just fired Obama.

That is the best friend Wall Street ever had. Your position makes no sense at all! Reminds me of all the other self-contradictory accusations against Obama, Muslim/ secular humanist, for the elite/for the poor… When one’s position is only name calling ( without evidence ) and those names contradict each other, it can be assumed that the person is emotional rather than logical.

It won't be long now.

Just 2 months to go. I'm sure Obama has already written his concession speech.

And then you will be happy, going back to the Bush policies ( less tax on the mega rich and even less regulation of Wall Street)! You must be mega rich or a masochist!
The Bush virus caused our current economic crisis, another round of it will kill us.

Fraud and a lack of transparency and accountability caused the economic mess we are in-- not free markets.

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but Eastwood did say something very important.

He dispelled that entire "Hollywood liberal" crap that the NeoCons like to shout about!

Unintended consequence?

Deregulation caused the crisis. Banks were allowed to sell mortgages to investors. Those they rated at AAA and people believed them! Once a mortgage was sold the bank did not care if it was paid off or not. It was in the bank's self interest to issue as many mortgages as possible because they sold them and did not take any risk.
I am not against capitalism, just this class warfare ( take $ from the middle class and transfer it to the leisure class) that Romney advocates.

The person you replied to offer you facts.
You reply with things you like to think.
For someone who posts a thousand times a day, I would think you would be able to respond to another poster once in a while. I wasted a whole day thinking you might make sense.

If you think what you just wrote is true, then please back it up. Show us anything that makes it believable.
You completely failed to address the real point in the post you were responding to.

I wonder if you do that because you have no idea what you are reading or because you do know you are going to lose the argument if you try.

Common sense from Newt !
